Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)

- The room is really clean and well decorated with a virtual fireplace that adds to the ambience
- Good location, 10mins drive from Dali Railway station

Cons:
- The toilet flush is quite weak, will need to flush multiple times if doing big business
- The shower head had abit of water leakage at night even though we had already turned off the taps completely

Travel with big families and lucky to choose the pullman hotel which has convenient locations, accessible to most of the attractions near the erhai lake. The hotel is very new with fabulous lake view to enjoy the erhai and also xing sheng bridge
. We dined in twice for dinner at level 5 grand Chinese restaurant. The food quality is above average and price reasonable with additional 10% off for hotel guests.

Amazing stay ❤️ we arrived in the morning and could check in already, and throughout our whole stay, we were well taken care of, with welcome drinks, fruits, night time warm milk, and even a complimentary ride back to the train station after we checked out. We were told to add the staff on wechat, and communication was smooth and quick - they answered any questions we had, and even gave us recommendations on places to visit. The room was also great, lots of space and beautiful views of the garden downstairs. Many thanks to staffs 七月/十五 for taking great care of us during our stay!

The hotel was conveniently located right outside the dali ancient town, offering both convenience and tranquility. It was also beautifully decorated and equipped with a lot of amenities such as the pool, a really nice roof garden as well as a mini gym though we did not use them during this trip. The service and hospitality of the staffs were also impeccable. The receptionists were prompt in replies and always available to assist us, be it greeting us and helping us with our luggages or recommendations regarding touring around dali.
We were also very grateful for the free room upgrade and were once again impressed by the cleanliness, decor and comfort of the room. The supper was really good as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will recommend it to anyone coming to dali! :)

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. At first there were some isuues with the wifi, TV and safety deposit box, but as I mentioned them to the hotel, they immediately took care of them.
As the hotel is in Dali Ancient Town and cars are not allowed inside, they offer a service to help you with you luggage to/from the city gate.
We only had breakfast at the hotel, which consists mainly of Chinese dishes, cereals, pastries, butter, jam and coffee/tea.
The pool is not heated, so during winter is not very convenient to have a bath.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely return if we have the chance to visit Dali again (which we hope to!). The location is perfect, right next to Dali Old Town with breathtaking views of Cangshan Mountain. Our room was super clean, cozy, and equipped with new, modern, and high-end facilities. We were even upgraded to a better room category for free!
The service was truly exceptional, among the best we've ever experienced. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. He welcomed us with a pot of tea and delicious rose cake (a Dali specialty) while we waited for our room, and later surprised us with fresh fruit delivered directly to our room. He also provided gentle reminders about breakfast and the nightly soup offering, which was a lovely touch. Speaking of breakfast, it was quite decent with a good variety of local choices like rice noodles, corn, egg, and mini buns.
The owner was always ready to assist with anything we needed, from recommending fantastic restaurants to helping us book bus tickets. Unfortunately, we had an accident during our trip, and the owner's response was incredible. He went above and beyond to help us, showing genuine care and concern. We felt like we were being treated like family, and we are so grateful for his patience and support during a difficult time.
We 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in Dali. The combination of stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service make this a true gem!

We arrived in the afternoon. Two housekeepers came to the door to greet us. They were warm and generous. The front desk lady was very beautiful and thoughtful. The boy was also handsome and meticulous. There was a beautiful view at the check-in place. The hotel also gave us afternoon tea. The view from the cafe was also very photogenic. There were many photogenic view spots. We gave us travel photography. The photographer was professional and could motivate people. We were very satisfied with the photos. We gave us fruit upon check-in. The mini bar was also free. The breakfast was a set meal. It was a combination of Chinese and Western food. It was very comprehensive. The room had a good view 🚾 and faced the sea. It was very healing. The bathtub 🛁 was very large and unique. We stayed on the upper and lower floors this time. It was a very wonderful experience. The housekeeper created a service group and gave us a restaurant tour guide. We could communicate any questions in time. There was also a pick-up service at the station. It was very considerate. Before leaving, they also gave us souvenirs and took our luggage. Thank you. It was very satisfying to have such a stay feedback at such a price. I sincerely wish Muxin Castle a prosperous business. The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. beautiful lodging with amazing view of Erhai and the mountains. Morning view is unreal. butler Xiao Du 小杜 was very attentive and helpful, always responsive when approached. Other hotel staff were also very sweet and attentive, preparing breakfast for us to takeaway as we have to check out early to get the train.
Only thing to note is the no. Of insects from the sea that will be attracted to the light in the room. Nothing the hotel can do as its nature, but Xiao Du will remind you to keep the doors closed at night so that the flies don’t come in.

super convenient. The service was great from the staff. Although location was a bit confusing to find, the staff came out and led our driver to the right place for check in. You can see Cangshan and erhai from the apartment. There's not a lot of food places around as the apartment is on a small mountain apartment complex. However ordering take out is very convenient from your room. Overall a great stay.

GGuest UserJust spent a wonderful five nights at the Anyu Hotel in Dali in November, this beautifully appointed boutique hotel was so charming. From the warm lights, to the rich hardwood floors, ceilings, and furniture to all the thoughtful accents in the room and common areas, it felt like a charming and cozy home away from home.
Hotel location is fantastic, just steps away from the Dali Ancient Town, so everything from cafes, top restaurants, pharmacies, markets, bars, and hundreds of other stores and outdoor vendors are just a 2-10 minute walk away, no need to sit in traffic or call a car to get around.
Bed and pillows very comfortable, showerhead very powerful so makes for a very luxurious shower.
However, the best thing about the hotel is their warm and caring staff.
Nancy, one of the cleaning staff, was always super helpful and attentive and delightful to chat with, and was also kind enough to give us some great recommendations on places to visit which we ended up enjoying very much.
Anna was also very nice to interact with, her gentle and pleasant demeanor and thoughtful words always made it a pleasure to see her.
Candy was wonderful as well, always making sure we were attended to and ended up making some great recommendations on places to eat nearby. Her warm smile and kind demeanor will be remembered.
Finally, it was Vivian who we owe a deep debt of gratitude to. On the first day, my 84-year old Mom came down with an illness which included all sorts of symptoms. Vivian went out of her way to call a car and she accompanied us to the nearest hospital where she helped us fill out all the necessary paperwork and stayed by Mom's side for over an hour as we waited to see a doctor. Medication was prescribed and she called another car to take us back to the hotel while she went to a nearby pharmacy to pick up the medication for us which she then brought back to the hotel. By then it was well into the night and she had even taken us to the hospital when she was already off work, so this was all on her own time.
My Mom ended up making a recovery in large part to Vivian's quick and incredibly kind actions. She really went above and beyond and we are just so grateful to her and Anyu Hotel for helping to save my Mom.
Vivian was also an absolute pleasure to talk to as she always came over to greet us and chat everyday during our stay. Her warm smile, cheerful disposition, and charismatic yet humble personality always made every interaction a real pleasure. The hospitality we experienced from her will never be forgotten and feel very fortunate to have met someone with such a kind heart and also very high EQ and dedication. We know if we had stayed at a different hotel there is no way we would have experienced this level of hospitality so we are deeply appreciative for Vivian and the entire staff at Anyu for making our trip one that won't be forgotten.

When we got off the bus, the little brother helped with the luggage. After arriving, the winter melon tea made by the homestay was very delicious and had the aroma of glutinous rice. My mother liked it very much. The owner saw that the elderly liked it and gave two cups. It was so thoughtful. The hotel environment is also very good. The garden style is very design-oriented. You can see that the design is attentive. The Chinese garden is combined with modern art. The geographical location is also very convenient. In the ancient city, you can go shopping directly in the ancient city. It is convenient to enter and exit the ancient city. The homestay was newly opened this year, so it is very new and the hygiene is very good. It is very suitable for taking family trips or escaping from the class. Environment:
The overall decoration environment of the new B&B is still very good, with a terrace and a swimming pool. There are also cats and dogs. The golden retriever is very docile and very easy to rub

The room is fully equipped, but the shower room in the bathroom is not partitioned as a whole, which is not very convenient
Service:
The service is OK overall, but there is a problem. The room is not cleaned as a whole. I told the housekeeper to clean it. When I came back, I found that the garbage was dumped, but the bed was not made
The overall cost performance is OK, but the B&B is still a little worse than the hotel in management

We stayed one night in August (Summer).
Pillow, blanket and bed were comfortable.
Toilet was humble.
Very kind and hard working hotel owner (well dressed and handsome too). He was very communicative, we added him on WeChat and he gave us detailed instructions and picked us up at the fork road, carried our luggages and walked us to the accommodation.
The accommodation is about 10-15 minutes walk to the main road where cars are allowed to drop off. We had huge and heavy luggage. We are extremely grateful that the owner lugged our luggage to the accommodation under the hot sun for us. He upgraded our room, and helped us to book a reliable driver to lijiang. He gave us tips on where to have breakfast and rent buggy. He also helped to liaise with the driver and carried our luggage to the car!!! It's 34 degrees Celsius here at the moment. We are so so grateful. Wishing the owner great success!
Recommendation:
1. Stay on the second floor onwards (less noisy and able to see the lake better)
2. Explore the track before the sun rises above the mountain (ard 6am). Walk 700m left of accommodation to book your vehicle. This will ensure you have enough vehicles to choose from, less crowded, avoid extreme UV, cooling weather, and get to Xin di cafe at a good time for breakfast!
3. Night time order meituan to accommodation so you can enjoy the view and eat at the comfort of your place. Couldn't find good and reliable restaurants around the area.
4. Manage expectations, there are bugs near the lake. Close the window at night.

The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility.
A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels.
The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless.
The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family.
Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

PpaigeneoLocation is conveniently located within 5-10min walking distance from the Dali train station exit. There's escalators and lift to the bridge that crosses over from the train station. Just note that location is 20min ++ drive away from the Dali Ancient City. Gave a 4 stars for amenities as we encountered sudden cold water while showering on the first night, and the toilet lights in the room could not be turned off. Hotel facilities might need to be upgraded soon. Staff service made up for these shortcomings as response was prompt from staff to rectify our room's tv issue on the first day.

GGuest UserSince it was a temporary decision to go to Dali, I hurriedly chose a hotel by feeling, and decided to renew the lease immediately after arriving! The price/performance ratio is very high, better than the more than 800 we ordered in Banna
Transportation: The boss came to pick him up in person, the boss is very considerate and gentlemanly
Hygiene: very clean, and the hygiene of dead corners is also in place
Environment: You can see the beauty of Erhai Lake, which cannot be captured by cameras and mobile phones. It is recommended to come and experience it in person.
I am very happy that I booked such a favorite hotel when I came to Dali for the first time. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Dali.
