Dali Manyun Chinese Inn

I only realized belatedly, while writing this review, that the room I booked was different from the one shown in the photos. I originally booked a deluxe twin room with a large, bright bed, but I was given a twin room with a window facing the wall of the building opposite. The room was a bit damp and not very bright, but clean enough, with no smell of cigarette smoke. We arrived at noon and tried to check in, but the host said it was a bit early, but said the room I'd booked was ready. I happily checked in, but I didn't realize it was the wrong room. If the host had informed me of the room change, I wouldn't have minded, as I wanted to check in early, but I felt a bit ripped off by being moved without any notice. The good thing about the inn is its fantastic location, just 100 meters across from the South Gate, with the Nanmen Night Market right outside the door. Eating is very convenient. Although it's in the bustling city, it's at the back of a building, away from the street, so it's very quiet. However, because the inn's door faces the kitchen of the restaurant in the basement of the building opposite, there's a constant smell of cooking smoke.

The room doesn't feel very clean, needs improvement

#Parking The parking lot is too far away and there is no free parking lot. The staff at the parking lot said that this inn had free parking, but the staff at the inn did not.
