Dali Hexi Shanshe Qinglan

The room was impeccably clean. Every morning, the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of Cangshan Mountain. The guesthouse owner was incredibly hospitable and provided exceptionally attentive service. Its location is fantastic, very close to the South Gate of the Ancient City, with a lively night market right outside your doorstep in the evenings. There's also a car rental shop conveniently located right next to the guesthouse.

The room was spotless. The location is excellent, just a few hundred meters across from the Dali Ancient City Bus Station, making it incredibly convenient for transport. The host is incredibly friendly. They even provide free snacks and water at the reception, which is a great perk for travelers – a real lifesaver when you miss a meal and need a quick energy boost, haha! There's also a small swimming pool on the ground floor. The owner mentioned they change the water daily, and it looked very clean; the kids really enjoyed playing there. I must give a special shout-out to the owner! We were rushing to catch our Erhai Lake tour bus the next morning, and the owner actually gave us a ride to the station. After we got on the bus, I realized I had forgotten my laundry on the rooftop. To my surprise, the owner even offered to mail it to my home free of charge! They are truly beyond amazing!

Facilities: The facilities are generally good, but I'd suggest adding a deflector to the air conditioner. The direct draft from the AC during a shower is quite uncomfortable and could easily make you sick. Also, our room didn't offer a mountain view. Cleanliness: Very good. Location: Extremely convenient, close to both the ancient town and the bus station. Service: The owner was very warm and enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage.

The location is excellent. It's easily accessible by bus from the train station to Dali Ancient City, and just a 10-minute walk from the Ancient City's South Gate. The service was great, and the rooms were spotless. I was very satisfied with my stay.

The room was quite spacious, featuring a long sofa and a coffee table. The two beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and there was plenty of hot water. The owner was incredibly patient and helped me switch to a room I was perfectly happy with. It's very convenient for accessing Dali Ancient City, and the Erhai Lake Loop Bus Service Center is also very close by.

This guesthouse offers great value for money and boasts an excellent location. It's just a 15-minute walk to the old town, yet it's cleverly positioned away from the noisy night market stalls, ensuring peace and quiet while still being convenient for getting around. Each room has a small seating area outside with tables and chairs, which is perfect for enjoying the cool evening air. There's also a small pool, great for a quick dip, though the water was a bit too cold. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom isn't separated into wet and dry areas, but aside from that, everything else was quite good.
