Dali zuodou Sea View Resort Reviews

This hotel is situated away from the busy side of Erhai Lake, but to me it's a plus point as you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake without all the cars and people crowding round (as we visited during the local school holidays). Usually the taxi / drivers will drop you at a communal carpark, then you can ask the staff to pick you up (if u have luggages) and they'll come with a golf cart! It's actually a very short walk away, but the road is cobbled so not the most convenient with luggages. The staff reached out to me via WeChat the day before to give us instruction for pick-up and they arranged for a driver pick up from Dali station to the hotel. Everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming, and everything went smoothly. Room was excellent! It's pretty big and super clean, even with a bidet! While our view from the balcony was a bit restricted, but you can just go down to the first floor to see the sunrise. They were also nice enough to help us carry our luggages up as there's no lift. Breakfast was lovely, and it even came with croissants (optional). There's also places to chill at the garden of the hotel, with a pool! Sadly we didn't have enough time in Dali to enjoy just chilling and enjoying the lovely scenery (both the lake and the hotel itself which has lovely flowers). Will love to stay here again if I'm ever back in Dali!

Gorgeous surroundings (watched an epic sunrise from bed!), great location (within 10min bike ride to XiZhou, but removed enough to feel serene) and lovely daily breakfast + free afternoon tea. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, but nothing to write home about. Note that it's helpful if you want to have dinner in neighbouring towns, it's helpful if you're ok with biking in the dark or taking a taxi. Overall, such a great place to relax and get away for a little bit :)

A very good hotel with very good location to explore Xi Zhou ancient town and er hai. Thumbs up for the good service. The hotel restaurant serve good bai ethic stir fried food too.

amazing location near er hai. my room had unblocked view and crazy sunsets. food was ok and reasonably priced and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. lovely boutique hotel and would like to visit again.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. The view is idyllic, and the surrounding facilities are dreamy. Riding bikes alongside the lake is something I'll treasure forever. The breakfast buffet was great. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was my first time to travel to Dali, and I chose to stay at Zuodu Hotel in Haixi. This accommodation experience was very good. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, and the location is also quite good, in the ecological corridor. There is afternoon tea every afternoon, and it is quite pleasant to sit in the restaurant and enjoy the scenery of Erhai Lake. The open-air garden on the top floor of the hotel has a beautiful view of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake! Next time I come to Erhai Lake, I will continue to choose Zuodu! Five-star praise!

Because we stayed for 5 days, the manager upgraded our room type. There is a balcony and window on the side that can directly see Erhai Lake. The room setting is quite good. Dali mineral water and Thai Elephant brand soda water are provided free of charge. The overall environment of the hotel is thriving with green grass and red flowers. Because there is no traffic, it is safe and quiet. In the morning, we slept late and didn't watch the sunrise properly. The sun had risen at about 30 degrees at 8 o'clock in the morning. At night, I saw the bright moon rising from Erhai Lake, which was very beautiful.

This hotel is so beautiful, very quiet and comfortable! There aren't too many people making noise, it's very suitable for couples or lovers to come on vacation! The room is very South African resort style! You can see the scenery outside the window while lying in the room, and you can see the sunrise in the morning! You can feed the seagulls in just two steps! It's really great!

A great stay! The hotel arranged an airport pick-up for the early flight that day. After arriving, the front desk lady arranged an early check-in and upgraded the room type for free. I was very surprised after checking in. The sea view room by the Erhai Lake is so beautiful! The various facilities in the room are complete, and the afternoon tea is also very exquisite. It is very convenient to rent a bicycle to visit Erhai Lake and Xizhou Ancient Town. At night, you can also see the moonlit water and the starry sky. It is indeed the best choice to enjoy a leisurely and slow life!
