Hotels in Dong-gu, Daegu

It was a very pleasant stay for my friend and I! The hotel and room are nice and clean, bed is big and comfortable for 1 pax, has smart toilet and other amenities. The hotel staffs are very friendly. A small convenience store at the lobby. Requested for good view and it is given. Perfect for quiet and city getaway. Location wise, not very convenient to main shopping district. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel. As long as you know how to navigate around, it is not an issue!

The hotel is dated & furniture & amenities are very old. However, the hotel provides 24hrs unlimited coffee, tea, biscuits at the lobby. You can even get a extra hand tower from the lobby self service counter. Breakfast is limited but they have a cute instant noodles cooking machine which is very convenient if you wish to have Korean instant noodles for breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience at UH FLAT Daegu. The room was stunningly designed, spacious, and very aesthetic. I was particularly impressed with the high-end appliances and modern amenities, which made my stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is meticulous and genuinely cares about their guests. I had a difficult situation where I left an item behind, and because I don't have a local Korean phone number, arranging shipping was nearly impossible for me. The team went above and beyond to help me coordinate the delivery to Seoul, solving a huge problem with such kindness and patience. If you are looking for a place that combines style, comfort, and world-class hospitality in Daegu, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for making my trip so memorable!

As a solo traveler from Hong Kong, I felt this was more of an upscale, newly renovated motel, or even a love hotel. The room amenities were excellent, including a sterilizing wardrobe, bathtub, electric bidet, charging dock, air purifier, sofa, 65-inch smart TV, satellite channels, YouTube, and even a desktop computer. It would have been even more perfect with hand soap at the sink and shower gel/shampoo next to the tub. The staff were also very patient and friendly. Although they didn't speak foreign languages, they handled customer complaints well. I booked this place through Trip.com, but there was no mention of window issues. The pictures seemed to show windows, but the room I was assigned was in the basement with a decorative window that, when opened, only revealed a wall. I requested a room with a scenic window. Despite the language barrier, the staff politely explained that changing rooms would incur an extra charge. In the end, we both compromised and resolved it fairly, and I was moved to a third-floor room with a scenic window. The staff handled the situation perfectly and patiently. I believe the misunderstanding arose because the online listing didn't specify that rooms at this price either had no windows or no view, leading guests to misinterpret the photos. I highly recommend this hotel. The area is very lively at night, with more restaurants than the city center. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest Dongchon Subway Station, passing through the popular Dongchon Amusement Park tourist attraction. There's also a bicycle rental shop next to the subway station! Very good.

The property is clean & feels new. Service staff was helpful. Location is about 10 minutes walk from Dongdaegu Station. To get to the lift, you need to manage some steps which was a bit inconvenient with large suitcases. Business travellers with cabin sized bags will not have an issue. The room was set to heating mode only so we had to sleep with the windows open as it was too warm. Recommend to have the room adjustable to fan mode for respective guest's preference as not everyone like to be in the warm mode.

Location is excellent with dozens of restaurants and fair within 3 minutes walk along with a park and the river. The view of the river is very noce and calming; I will definitely be staying there again.

The location was inconvenient because the nearby entertainment district was too intense, but other than that, it was really good. The facilities were great, the service was good, and above all, it was incredibly clean. I travel to Daegu frequently for business, so I plan to stay here every time. I think it would be fine to take a taxi there.

I had a sudden business trip, and it was relatively quiet. It's quite large and feels more like a motel. I thought there was no breakfast, but I figured it out when I saw the sign in the elevator. It would have been nice if they had given me some advance notice. The strong smell of bleach was a bit of a struggle.

The room is spacious and the location is super convenient, just a 5-10 minute walk from Dongdaegu Station and Shinsegae Department Store. There's a popular red bean bread shop and Olive Young right next to the hotel, making shopping very easy.

I checked in late and checked into the room. It was a large 56m2. It was very large and nice. The living room, bathroom, and bathroom were large, so I liked the Paley style. However, upon checkout, they asked me to pay an additional fee for an hour overtime. Check-out time was 11:00 AM. The check-out call was 12:00 PM. If the check-out time was 11:00 AM, I wish they had called me. There was no advance notice at check-in. I only received the instructions and didn't read them carefully. It would have been better if they had given me an advance notice and called me to notify me of my departure. I had a comfortable stay in a nice facility, but I was disappointed to pay the additional fee. ㅠㅠ
