The hotel has an excellent location to access all the good parts of Cusco. Casa Cartagena itself has been decorated with ambiente to preserve its 17 century history. Our room was vey spacious spacious, clean room and all the facilities were in great shape. The added plus is the superfriendly and helpful staff. This is 5star level.

Très bel hôtel ,très bien situé dans le centre historique de Cuzco .Chambres spacieuses.Confort,propreté des chambres. Les jardins sont très beaux et bien entretenus. Toutefois des améliorations sont à apporter en ce qui concerne le « landry» , j’ai été obligé de relaver mes affaires… De plus,le restaurant propose des pizzas,il faudrait envisager de changer de pizzaiolo (les pizzas sont hélas immangeables….) Le séjour fut malgré tout fantastique.

Casa Cartagena is a hidden gem in Cusco! The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of character. The service was top-notch — warm, attentive, and personalized. We loved the peaceful courtyard, delicious breakfast, and gourmet dinners with local flavors. A perfect mix of history and luxury. Highly recommended for a special stay in the heart of Cusco!

While the hotel and room was absolutely top notch it was the staff the blew it over the top.From the registration, house cleaning and breakfast servers they are super professional and genuinely nice people. Can't wait to stay there again!!

Muito bem localizado e a 5 minutos caminhando até a plaza de armas . Super tranquilo e com boas acomodações. Café da manhã muito bom. Consegui através do concierge um tour privado muito bom de 3 dias pelo vale sagrado e Cusco. Acho que é a melhor opção em Cusco porque tem bom custo benefício na sua faixa de preços.

We were wowed by the outstanding customer service and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we had very personalized attention but not too much. The property is beautiful and there are only 15 rooms, so it’s really chill and quiet. Fernando also makes incredible Pisco Sours!

A lovely respite!
It seems to have retained some of the peace and tranquility of its previous incarnation as a monastery. I would have spent more time just enjoying the hotel as a retreat had it not been for unfortunate, but obviously necessary, construction and garden mowing in the courtyard.

A really perfect boutique hotel with great staff, lovely rooms and everything you could wish for. Really great breakfasts. Great location, tastefully decorated and staff that went the extra mile. You should stay here if you are going to Cusco.
