We greatly enjoyed this B&B. The location was perfect for seeing or swimming with manatees! The breakfast options were extensive, and there were various activities available including water bikes, wet suits, kayaks, and paddle boards. Everything that we wanted to do in town was walkable from this location, including seeing several springs and eating out. We can’t wait to come back!

The owner/manager was incredibly rude! We were trying to swim in the PUBLIC and OPEN spring that butts up to the property and the lady from the bed and breakfast harassed the small group of us swimming in "House Spring". We were obeying all of the regulations that we were instructed about, did not touch her private property and were just trying to quietly swim with some manatees but she wanted nothing but to cause us to have a poor experience. Nobody owns the water. The spring and manatees were beautiful but I would not recommend this poorly run establishment to anybody. Terrible service and truly rude.

This place is magical! The location on the lagoon is perfect with amazing views. There is an abundance of amenities from use of bikes and water sports equipment to the plentiful breakfast, snacks, and beverages. Joanne was super helpful and made our stay even more special. We’ll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed a 3-night stay at Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B. The 4-room property feels somewhere between a traditional B&B and an AirBnb. Guests share a common living area and kitchen, which is generously stocked with food and drinks which you can help yourself to. This is perfect when heading out on an early tour or you fancy a lie in and late breakfast. We stayed in the scallop room (downstairs) which gets some noise from the kitchen so if you're not an early riser you may prefer one of the upstairs rooms. We especially loved: - the prime location, alongside home spring on Crystal River - access to snorkel gear, kayaks, paddle boards and hydro bikes - delicious breakfast options, plus extras like beers in the fridge and supplies for smores when Steve lit a fire each evening. Steve, Joanne & Lynne gave us a great welcome, were friendly and gave us lots of local tips. We'd love to stay again and see home spring full of manatees during the winter!

The nicest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The place is adorable with so many nautical and whimsical decorations. Even the floor is decoratively painted. We stayed in the Manatee Room which was decorated with everything manatee. There is everything you could possible want: a fully stocked refrigerator with eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit; another refrigerator full of soft drinks, water, beer and wine. Kayaks, paddle boards, bikes. A Firepit (s’mores fixings are also in the kitchen), a beautiful roof deck to enjoy morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Sometimes you get lucky enough to see manatees- the house is right where the boats take swimmers. It is easy to walk to town, restaurants and the Three Sisters to view even more manatees. Joanne was super helpful showing us around and helping us plan our visit. I highly recommend and have already shared with my friends. Thanks.

We stayed at Crystal Blue Lagoon over Christmas. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. We had the house to ourselves since no one else was staying there. Joanne greeted us warmly and upgraded us to the mermaid room. She also went out of her way to help find us somewhere to eat for Christmas Day. She was there every day, cleaning up and running the place. The BnB has a small private sanctuary spring right on the property. I saw manatees in this sanctuary every single day. One morning during high tide, I counted 25 in this little sanctuary alone. The BnB overlooks Hunter Springs and has all the equipment you need to explore the spring and snorkel with manatees without booking any kind of tour. This even includes wetsuits! The BnB is a short walk to Three Sisters, another very popular manatee hangout. We went on two different days and saw manatees on both days. One very cold morning, there were about 200. Before booking, I was worried the BnB décor would be a little much but when I got there, it was 100% magic. It was beautifully done and had several areas to sit and take in the view. We enjoyed all the amenities, from the firepit to the recliners. The linens and pillows are nice, as well. The mattress was also nice. Ours was quite firm, however (mermaid room). My husband loved this but it was too firm for me personally. The anytime snacks are amazing – you will not go hungry, that is for sure. They had tons of options for cereals and oatmeal. There was a toast station with good bread, English muffins, and bagels. There were good yogurts and a large assortment of fruit, pastries, and sweet treats. Also: smore supplies, coffees, creamers, and hot chocolate. They also stock eggs, bacon, sausage, and even pancake supplies. This is also an easy drive to Orlando, Clearwater Beach, the Space Coast, and the mermaid shows at Weeki Wachee State Park :) And of course, all the many stunning springs in the area. This BnB was so lovely. I plan to go back soon!
