Good location of a tired motel. Breakfast massive disappointment after we had booked and paid extra to include breakfast we were given a "complimentary" doggy bag of a cheap chewy bar, muffin, apple and tiny water bottle given to everyone ( only enough for a child ). No complimentary coffee in breakfast/reception area at breakfast in time. Best to bring your own or go hungry

This was a great place to stay and we will be back. There was a large group of us with several rooms reserved along with a boat slip and all the staff were very nice and accommodating. I would describe this best as a “resort motel”, once you’re there, you really don’t need to leave the property for anything. Yes, it is an older style motel and you can see that with in the bathrooms (toilets, tubs, sinks, windows, doors) but everything in our group of rooms (building 6) was clean and working properly. Most of the rooms were recently renovated and very spacious. We had the suites, 2 beds, a pullout couch and a kitchenette. Boat ramp and slip are great and there is plenty of parking for boat trailers. The lobby is all new with great manatee themed decorations and a coffee shop. The coffee was ok, a bit weak. Can’t say enough how great the layout is with the pool, slips tiki bar and filet table all right together. Don’t miss the cheeseburgers at the tiki bar, fantastic. I think it was around $17 for a burger and fries but you’re paying for the convenience of not having to get dressed and being able to eat with the best view of the bay in town. They have a wonderful seating area with sun sail shades for people to enjoy a snack or drinks while watching all the activity or waiting for a tour. Definitely has an old school vibe and how Florida used to be. Yes, there are some bugs and mosquitoes but that’s to be expected, you’re in Florida, right on the water. They have a small picnic area with grills but I’d be hesitant to use the grills just yet. Hopefully they will have that area fixed up next, because this is the perfect place to have a small family reunion. Several places to eat and shop within walking distance and springs within paddle distance. Highly recommend, we will definitely go back.

Great people, terrific value and convenience in being so close to the dock where the activities launch. Highly recommended!

The staff is awesome and friendly. Rooms are clean with lots of hot water and comfortable bed. I would have give 5 stars, but the hot tub was broken as well as the ice machine in my building. The location is perfect with great views.

Nice location with large rooms; however the bathrooms were very small. A couple nice places to eat and have a drink on location. Pool by the water. Two stories but didn’t notice any elevators. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A small coffee shop in the lobby.
