This hotel has nothing, not even a table, and we had to put our water cups on the floor. You can't boil water, and you can't check in until 3 o'clock. If you check in early, you have to pay 20 pounds per hour. You have to check out at 10 o'clock. If you delay, you have to pay 20 pounds per hour. I thought it was a scam, and then the alarm went off twice at night. I don't know why, and I was scared to death because the room is too small and the sound insulation between the left and right is not very good. Except for two beds and a shower, there are no other facilities.

Great location, near to train and bus station, eateries, grocery stores
Friendly and helpful staff

Functional lift
Though we were already aware the hotel was really basic, would appreciate if soap and mineral water could at least be provided
Only thing we didn't like was the central air conditioner/heating. We were not able to adjust to the temperature we preferred

The room is basically a box with a bed in it. And an ensuite. No window is no problem, but a table or a chair to put things on and a glass for water wouldn't have been luxuries. The bed was fine, the shower worked, the towels were clean. The hotel was very convenient for Crystal Palace and it was safe for a solo woman traveller. So it served its purpose.
