Travelodge London South Croydon Hotel

The hotel is very dated for a travel lodge. There was no a/c in the rooms and the Wi-Fi is only free for 30 mins a day. The location of the hotel is good though as it a 5 mins walk to the nearest train station and bus stops are near by. Loads of food shops across the road and seemed a safe location. Good parking as I had a mini bus. Rooms were ok size too. A very small hotel on whole and staff were ok too. Would be better if rooms had a/c. Rooms do not have fridge either to keep water cool.

Great clean place, visiting with family to see my elderly mother. Family rooms are spacious comfortable and clean, We had towels on each of our beads which meant we didn’t have to ask for anything extra which usually happens. Staff was very accommodating and friendly when ever we have encountered any staff they always smiled politely and asked how we are doing overall great experience

My aunt and I stayed here. Though I stayed for the whole of Easter, she only stayed for two nights. My room was downstairs, near reception. Her room was upstairs and she had to use the stairs, though she suffered from dizziness. The staff were very nice and if either of us had any problem, then they would have sorted it out straight away. The breakfast was what I was used too, as I'd stayed in another one with a similar breakfast. Purley Oaks train station was a few minutes walk away. After she'd gone home, I used it and found I always had a problem in returning. I always seemed to have to get off at East Croydon and wait for quite some time for a train back. There are buses, which go past this place, but none of them went to where I needed to be for that day. My room overlooked the beer garden and I could always hear the noise coming from it.
