Wir hatten ein sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit einem ebenfalls großen Badezimmer. Der Betrieb besteht seit fast 600 Jahren wurde aber sehr gut gepflegt und entsprechend renoviert. Das Essen im Pub war gut und ist sehr beliebt. Selbst in der Woche empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

During our holiday in Wales, we spent one night at this accommodation. The room was a bit old and worn and in need of renovation. It was okay for one night and clean. The staff are all nice. The restaurant is good, i.e. the food is delicious.

Quaint small inn. Room was spacious and clean with nice tea making facilities with biscuits. Was a bit offputting that we had to walk up metal steps that were quite rundown to get to the room, and by garbage and recycling bins that could have been better located. Hotel itself is centrally located and easy to walk around - access to hikes and shops and restaurants

Another great stay at The Bear. I love it because it has a lot of character and it’s interesting. The rooms and nice and comfortable and the restaurant serves really delicious food (I had the beef short rib). It’s also really conveniently located in Crickhowell with most other interesting places within walking distance.
Lastly, all the staff I spoke to were really friendly and accommodating.
Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely place to stay in a loverly part of Wales. Make sure that you eat in their restaurant as the food is always great!
