Stayed for Christmas in triple room which worked well for us. Been to many hotels mainly in 1850 but also across 3 Valleys and Courcheneige is right balance of location, delivery and price. Staff lovely from arrival onwards, cheerful and helpful. Dinner is of limited choice but good quality, an improvement since our last stay. Wine list is good, strong in most areas and realistic mark ups. Breakfast could do with some attention as both some hot and cold items ran out, and sometimes ordered items like omelettes were not available. Bar area is well used, with seating shortages particularly around coffee time in morning and mid afternoon tea. Perhaps the underused lounge area opposite reception could be incorporated to increase capacity? One aspect that could be improved is the booking process. This is a common theme with Courchevel hotels but it’s actually quite difficult to book through the website and there are an enormous number of follow up emails needed to secure confirmation and payment. The concierge team are eager to help but we had difficulties with getting our ski passes and specific times for our van transfer to/from Geneva. Perhaps these are 21st Century problems but if they could be resolved it would add to an already enjoyable overall experience. Courchevel 1850 is our favourite ski experience and Courcheneige will continue to be our hotel of choice
