Very comfortable & relaxing stay at the beautiful Redcastle Hotel - fine leisure centre with spa facilities - lovely dining area with great view of the lough making it feel like you’re actually on a boat ⛴️

This hotel is starting to look tired in respect to decoration in some areas. The photos on the wall look good.
The venue appears to facilitate weddings, and the view from the reception room is good. however this appears to be the best feature.
The main concern is silver fish in the bedroom. When we spoke to staff offered another room however at 2:30 am no realistic. When I spoke with reception in the morning there was a blase stating that it is a water front hotel. breakfast was adequate how hot food not as good as cold selection.

We have just spent a delightful three day break at the Redcastle Hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the meals were excellent both in the restaurant and in the bar. Best were the considerate and smiling staff who went out of their way to help us in a friendly style. Hard to single anyone as they were all great, but perhaps Sarah in the restaurant deserves a special mention for her warmth.

The Spa is excellent. I had a wonderful facial treatment and also anIndian head massage, which was given by Olivia. It was a fabulous experience. And the relaxation suite afterwards was a complete treat With teas, small snacks and chilled water available. Thank-you so much Olivia.

Lovely location, lots of reception area seating, staff very friendly, spa treatments great. No evening entertainment, no radio or music playing in the bar ( even though we booked because we checked there was live music). When we asked the duty manager, he didn’t care in the slightest and said they cancelled but really I think it was because they had more wedding guests than “leisure guests”. Blonde receptionist lovely, empathetic and much more professional!

Hotel lovely and room beautiful . Food probably best I’ve had in an hotel in Ireland and good value for money . Staff friendly and helpful . The down sight was the leisure facilities there was no jacuzzis or hot tubs . Also no evening entertainment . We stayed Saturday night and expected some sort of entertainment but none . Think the hotel managers should stay in the galgorm which has the best facilities in the country and entertainment every night to help improve what is offered . This hotel is beautiful and lovely location but lacks in fac and entertainment
