An Grianan Hotel

Excellent place to stay. Food, accommodation and staff first class. We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Staff are great tour guides as well as doing their duties. Only one thing we would recommend is that a sign be erected 300 to 400 meters each side of the hotel to let you know you are approaching one of the best hotels in Donegal

Stopped in here on the 4th Sept and went to the bar for some food, we were served by Kenny and Katie who were so polite, professional and kind. I had the 50/50 unreal and totally recommend, the better half a Chicken melter again very tasty and again recommended. Over all food delicious with generous portions. 100% recommended.

Had my sons christening here recently and the events co ordinate Deidre was an absolute nightmare! From the get go everything I suggested for the room decor she was against and she even corrected me when I said that rose gold was a pink gold… which it is. She was very sharp and rude to the point that if my sons christening had not of been the next day I’d of changed venue. I even had to supply my own napkins because she told me blue ones didn’t exist yet I found them? Then my father went down the day of to check everything over as I was busy getting a 9 week old baby organised that she started again. Giving off that icing had come off some cupcake and onto HER table cloth & then she also in front of allll staff members openly said that one of the features of our christening wasn’t in her books so she would need to COST it which she said very very loudly in front of the other staff members in trying to belittle and embarrass my father. The staff on the day of my son’s christening were absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing. But overall I wouldn’t rush back to hold an event here if she was the event coordinator she made me unbelievably uncomfortable and was just utterly rude.
