Corralejo Hotels with Wi-Fi

I rated a 3 because we stayed her last year and gave it a 5. It is a different experience. Clearly the leadership are delivering a different message to the staff. Last year they couldn’t do enough, we were blown away by the unique experience. We were so excited about coming back, but sadly we’ve been disappointed on numerous occasions. It’s just another hotel now. The staff appear gutted, I can only think this is the corporate experience as opposed to the previous boutique experience. It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff, but sadly they are not able to offer that unforgettable experience we had last year. It’s gone from a customer focus experienced to a revenue focused corporation. We felt like we were getting in the way here, that can be uncomfortable I was told that if I wanted to keep the iron for more than an hour I would have to be charged 9 euros….. in a 5 star hotel!! Bizarre.

A party of six, we really enjoyed Alua Suites. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable, facilities were in good condition, entertainment was good and all inclusive food was reasonable. A couple of suggestions though, 1) We would have liked to eat in the A la Carte restaurant but booking was difficult and the online website menu didn't appear to change on the days it was open. 2) We checked out at midday but the hotel had no free facility for showering and changing before our early evening departure. A 10 euro charge per person for a 45 minute slot is a little bit silly. Nobody would begrudge paying 10 euros but all 6 of the party could have showered and changed in the 45 minute slot. 3) Invest in a few more flutes for the ladies enjoying Prosecco

As everyone has said, this hotel's location is brilliant. You have everything on your doorstep. We were supposed to be self-catering, but all we had was a fridge and a kettle lol (room 007). we had a separate living area, a small bedroom, and a walk-in shower. As our room looked out on the street and we were more or less at street level, there are bars up on the balcony. It felt like a prison. While it is good to watch people, I just felt I couldn't relax fully as constantly being watched. Plus, we looked directly into a barbers and cafe. With the doors closed you couldn't hear anything at night. The staff were all very nice including the maids. The place was kept spotless. I heard that people from apartments close by use the pool which means less loungers for guests. People are up early and putting towels on loungers, then disappearing for half a day, just wrong. When arriving / departing during the day you have to navigate your luggage around the loungers to get to your room. The hotel does not have any sea views whatsoever, the advertising is very misleading.

So let's remember these are an extremely reasonable 3* self catering apartments, yes it is a bit tired and dated in places and the kitchen equipment could be more substantial for self catering, however, there is no issue with the cleanliness of the resort, the apartment and communal areas were kept clean and the maintenance team were clearly busy renovating areas of the resort, the reception staff were polite and helpful and when we did have a small issue with a missing sink plug this was resolved within 10 mins. The pool bar was reasonable and extremely friendly, the on site supermarket was well stocked. The only negative was the calibre of many of the guests, this really appeared to be a typical brits abroad resort, waiting to reserve sunbeds at 8.30 every morning, loud inappropriate language in front of young children, and sometimes aggressive nature no doubt caused by over drinking. To conclude, it's a nice 3* resort, but unfortunately attracting typical brits looking to drink heavily, lay in the sun, and adopt an aggressive approach to the staff. I wouldn't hesitate to book again but knowing this was a good location to base myself not necessarily stay on the complex during the day.

We had the best time here. The hotel is beautiful and relaxing, it’s on the edge of corralejo with a five minute walk to Playas Grandes with beautiful turquoise beaches. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and friendly, especially Bibi and Melody. We felt very looked after. The good thing about this hotel is that it is in a quieter part of the town and so you have the option of being on the peaceful location of the hotel and nearby beaches, or the option to walk in or take the bus to the main town and restaurants. We went on a lot of excursions while we stayed here, many that will pick you up directly from your hotel. There is also a bus in Corralejo that takes you to other towns in Fuerteventura, so we visited el Cotillo a few times which was great. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. Our room was serviced every day and was spotless. This hotel takes a lot of pride in keeping the place looking clean and well presented. Breakfast was included and we had many options for our food and drink. The coffee was great too. We had a lovely time and we will stay here again.

We stayed at the Playa Park Zensation as a short break to celebrate my daughters birthday. It proved a really delightful location to unwind and also have some fun. The check-in process took a little while, but we were greeted by the friendly faces of Antonio and Thomas, who took care of us during our short stay. Antonio and Thomas are a credit to the hotel, as they were friendly, approachable and always tried to help. Thomas helped organise us a taxi and we found a bottle of bubbly and a birthday note for my daughter - which was a nice touch. The Hotel and room was very well presented and the room always immaculate. The food was a good standard with lots of great salad, fruit, and pizza! Very good pizza! We had a meal 'a la carte' which meant we could have a steak, salmon or pasta made fresh. This was my daughter's birthday night, so the staff brought out a cake with candle and sang happy birthday. Again, nice touch! The food selection was great and snacks and drinks available on all inclusive. We had an hour in the spa, which was nice to do - to 'say we had done it'. Yes, the large pool was cold - but we are from Yorkshire, and quite used to cold water :-D The mid pool was heated slightly more. We were not premium all inclusive - so had to arrange a ticket to go up onto the infinity pool rooftop. This was nice, with good views and felt more private- again, the pool was chilly - but had to do it - as my daughter really wanted to! Good location - 10 min 8euro taxi to Hotel Riu / Dunes and lovely beach. 5 min 5euro taxi to 'town' / beach etc. Nice market on thursday 10-15 minute walk and can also get to a small 'popcorn' beach 'Playa Vista Lobos'. The park opposite was nice for a stroll around one night, seemed like the locals were using a bbq area and having a fun time. The area generally felt safe and had no worries about walking about at night and getting around. We were checked out by 1100, but able to leave our luggage with reception - so we could eek out a few more hours to enjoy. We did so- to the max, doing everything we set out to do. The Playa Park is doing a great job. We had a lovely, memorable time for my daughters birthday, thanks largely to the hardworking staff.

Ocean Suites - loved this hotel and would definitely return. I’ve compiled a list of pros & cons. Pros Location - near shops, night life, restaurants and beach Lovely and quiet (although we visited in mid January) On arrival, the wristband you are given has a chip in it which doubles as a room key & charge card Food very good. Not a huge selection but all very fresh. Can’t fault it at all Restaurant staff very friendly Entertainment at night varied but saw a great Motown act and 2 dancers. Queen tribute act fantastic Good branded drinks selection on all inclusive Cocktail selection v good and reasonably priced - not much over 8 euros Rooms lovely - Nice toiletries in room. would recommend poolside location. 2 beautiful swimming pools. We were at quiet pool but lots of activities at other pool. Pools are heated but very cold until you are in Pool snack bar - fantastic food. Salmon bagels and poke bowls are amazing Great book swap library in entertainment area. Gym - outside under cover gym with good range of equipment Mamma Mia speciality restaurant - excellent. Steak is huge but really good. Great pizza Leo and entertainment staff excellent. Always smiling and go as far as getting extra seats at entertainment area. Cons Entertainment area - Huge pillars in entertainment area block your view. Seats are incredibly uncomfortable. Bar only opens for an hour while act is in. Not enough seats. Stops sharply after act finished - a disco would have been great. Everyone goes upstairs to the bar but not enough seats. Pool bar - staff unfriendly- totally unlike other hotel staff. Again loads of room but only 5 tables outside so shortage if you want to sit in the sun Hotel is no smoking. One of few smoking areas right next to poolside bar 😫 Only 1 toilet (3 cubicles) - same for gents, which cover restaurant, entertainment and bar area. Not sure how often they are cleaned but they were often very untidy and unpleasant Room cleaning very slow - some days nearly 4pm when you want to get ready Other Info Safe in room is 2 euros/day Towels supplied.
