Arena Beach

Very good. Staff are so nice and place is clean.

We were so pleasantly surprised with our week long stay here in Feb, we had a great time! We travelled with our 2 children (1 & 4) & wider family group, we hired a car from the airport so we could get around and didn’t have to do a coach transfer with the children, this worked out perfectly for trips to the larger beach too. We managed to walk to the beach by the ***** of main shops in Corralejo from the hotel (maybe 30 mins walk?) visiting a few beach bars too. We could not have just stayed at the hotel 24/7 for a week without venturing out. We thought the hotel may feel crowded but we always got a sunbed by the kids pool/smaller pool and always managed to get a table in the restaurant for the 9 of us together. We found our room to be really clean & efficient housekeepers. The 4 of us were in one room which just about worked, with travel cot in main bedroom & large sofabed in the ‘lounge’ area. The kitchenette was useful with sink, fridge & microwave too. We were situated right by the kids arcade, opposite the mini park & children’s pool which was useful. There’s a little shop on site which is handy. We found the food to be fine for us with varying tastes, sometimes random combinations but we always ate well and friendly helpful staff. I first thought our fnaily who booked for us were joking saying to take your own cups, but yes everyone takes their own cups! Otherwise I think you have to buy flimsy disposable ones? The children loved the mini disco @8pm every night! Such an energetic entertainer! Didn’t make any of the other evening entertainment & the kids were too tired to wait up for it to start a while after the disco finished! …We saw a couple sat near the minidisco one night and we all said not sure any of us would stay here without children? But for families definitely a cheerful option!

Just returned from a 12 night stay at Arena Beach Hotel, second time there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is a decent walk from the heart of Corralejo but it is an enjoyable stroll and plenty of Cafes, Bars and Restaurants on the way to make pit stops and refuel. I would like to ask the Management Team to pass on our thanks to their Staff who work tirelessly to make everything just right. The Entertaiment guys just never stop and some of the live music nights were excellent. The Bar Staff always laughing and smiling and we never had to wait too long to get served. The Hotel have introduced a policy on you either renting a plastic glass for a Euro (refundable) or bring your own and although I was surprised when I had read this I have to say it really worked. None of the normal behaviour of people just leaving drink after drink unfinished at tables. The choice of Food at the Restaurant was excellent. We still heard the usual moans from people who could not find anything they liked, I will give my usual response to these people, either upgrade to 5 star Hotel or go self catering, I honestly do not know what these people expect, and I am convinced that no matter where they are they will always have a gripe. Sunbeds, the Hotel clearly states that sunbeds cannot be reserved and left unattended, and we observed the usual practice of the moaners putting towels down on multiple beds and then wandering off, so hats off to Staff who periodically came round and lifted Towels which had been laid out before 9am and left unattended. There are more than enough Sunbeds to go round if people who are going into Town would just lift their Towels All in all for a bit of Winter Sun this was fantastic and we will certainly be back at Arena Beach
