French-speaking hotel staff, attentive and helpful both at reception and on the catering side. 2 swimming pools to choose from, one quieter than the other depending on your preferences. Large, very functional and clean room with a view of the swimming pool (or not). Hotel well located next to shops, restaurants and bars. The food was tasty although lacking a little diversity (I was half board). Excellent value.

We had a great holiday. This hotel is very similar to other three star hotels we have visited across Spain (we booked this as a 3 star with Jet2). The pool area was great for us and our 7 year old. Yes, you do need to get your sunbed early but that’s pretty standard in a British hotel. We would have loved to see more parasols though to improve this aspect. You’ll see reviews about wrinkly pool liners but it really makes no difference when you’re in there having fun with your family. The meals were pretty much as we’d experienced in other similar hotels. Always hot, lots of choice and cracking pizza for the little ones. Yes, you have to queue but that’s the price you pay for a fresh egg or pancake right? Rather this than eggs festering on a hot plate I’d say. Our room was comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff were great and made ours room up every day. The air con kept a nice steady 16 degrees which was perfect for sleeping. We had a pool view which added to the experience. In conclusion, if you are expecting four or five star standard then you need to splash the cash and go somewhere else. If you want a clean, comfortable three star experience then don’t let other reviews put you off. This hotel was great!

Hotel Hotel is ok, nothing wow just standard. Maintenance has been seen repainting and doing jobs trying to keep it looking decent Rooms Big and spacious, the cleaner does a good job cleaning them. Rooms are however basic (more so the bathroom) tired looking In areas. Our bathroom needed a refresh, window panels broken/chipped, cracked basin, not the best looking around the edges of shower and could do with a repaint. The balconies are really big and spacious which is nice. Would recommend bringing a line for pegging stuff out. Restaurant There are 2 restaurants, one which is used for breakfast and lunch and the other downstairs for evening meal. All I can say in regards to the food is thank god they can do a decent pizza cause that's all we ate. The food like many others have reported is disgusting. Breakfast tends to be the best meal food wise for finding something to eat. Witnessed staff taking out bowl of watermelon, bringing back the bowl topped up but not discarding the old mushy melon first before putting the fresh ontop. It's a free for all come meal time, hectic and busy, battling through people to find something. The poor staff are overwhelmed with the amount of people and can not keep up quick enough serving out items such as pancakes/pizza/eggs , trays left empty and people waiting to be restocked. Like a swarm of locus to the tray once stocked and items gone again in minutes. We have opted to eating out some evening because the food is that bad. Entertainment Kids club is good, the evening entertainment however very poor. I think we have seen one decent one since being here. Reps around the pool side are lovely and really friendly , very entertaining, especially Jamal who the kids love and is a real asset to the hotel. Some pool side games such as bingo, darts, pool aerobics etc. Evenings are boring. Pools Two pools, big pool is the busy pool, very busy.....full of inflatables which I don't mind, however the size of some of them is ridiculous for how busy the pool is. Lifeguards present, two seen chatting for hours not taking one bit of notice if there was an emergency going on. Maintenance again seen suctioning the pool in the mornings, however still has small stones on the bottom of the pool. Kids pool is very slippy and needs redoing. Water level is lower than the drains so I question how clean this pool actually is. I would recommend pool shoes to be worn in all pools. Cracks also present which is a bit dangerous. The temperature of the water (August at time of review) is freezing when you first get in, once in and moving around it's not so bad. Sunbeds aren't too bad to find however people to put towels out in the morning and not likely to get a umbrella unless you get towel out first thing. Some umbrellas broken due to strong winds. Hotel facilities Toilets need to be cleaned more in my option in the restaurant, wet floors and smell gross. There is a gym onsite (not been in) Pool bar -decent with friendly staff. Se

We stayed here the first week of August. Start with the positives, the staff were extremely hard working and friendly, they didn't stop and were often there from morning until night. The maids were amazing, the room was kept really clean. The location is great for town and beach. The negatives.... the casual racism between the French and the English was appalling, I witnessed a couple of arguments and foul language in front of kids. The food was sub par, I would go bed and breakfast next time as lunch and evening meal were awful. My son refused to eat most food after witnessing a fly drown in the chocolate fountain so he lived on bread for the week (never spent so much money for him to just eat bread!). I witnessed a chef wipe his nose on his hand and continue to cook without changing his gloves. My son picked up a sickness bug on our last day, I had assumed it was from the water park but after reading how many others caught it I wonder if it was the food. I found a cockroach in the bathroom and the shower pan leaked all over the bathroom floor every time you used it. Personally I wanted to leave after the first day but tried to stay positive for the sake of my son. He complained about the pool being over chlorinated (the water was cloudy) and he hurt his foot in the quiet pool where the floor was peeling and had sharp edges. Wifi only seemed to work around the quiet pool too. I feel cheated as when we booked it was classed as 4 star, a few months later it was downgraded by Jet 2 to 3 stars but no reduction in price. I am a single working mum so paying for this was not easy. I expected more I guess and maybe a better basic standard.

Visited as a family of 4 with two children, 7 and 4. Arrived and was checked in promptly and directed to room. The room was spacious, even with the sofa bed set up. Double bed was two singles put together, could have done with extra pillows. The sofa bed dipped in the middle so our children often ended up rolling into each other. Room was always clean and tidy. Maintenance in the room was an issue; - Shower was blocked and water was coming up from under the sink. This was resolved after mentioning it twice. - Actual shower tray continued to flood after a couple of minutes of the shower being on- had to put all our towels down daily to stop anyone slipping on the tiles as this would go beyond the bathroom. Door frame and door was rotten at the bottom from water damage so clearly an ongoing problem. As a result the bathroom door couldn't shut properly. - Patio door had a problem with runner meaning only my husband could open and close it with a lot of effort. Pool area was generally always clean and tidy. Lifeguards were their daily. Some were more vigilant than others. Sign in room saying sunbeds couldn't be reserved before 10am was pointless as they were always gone before breakfast. Not a problem for us as we tended to spend the mornings at the beach and come back late afternoon when it was quieter for the pool- I can't can't comment on the entertainment. Evening entertainment was hit and miss. Kids disco was 8.30-9.00; very repetitive but the kids loved it. Some entertainment acts were great like the magician and the acrobats. Some other nights weren't great. Food- We arrived at the start of our stay and were a little disappointed. Food at lunch and dinner seemed a little cold and little choice. Downstairs restaurant was like sauna- unbearable some days. Throughout our stay we noticed more positive changes. More management present, (Natalia was there most days at the end of our stay overseeing things) clearing tables and checking the food, more variety at dinner and better quality. Dinner also started to take place in the upstairs restaurant which was much better. Breakfast was always good. We were told about a BBQ on Friday evening which didn't take place. Staff seem to work their socks off all around this hotel, but it feels like they are understaffed. We visited 4th-14th August and had a lovely holiday. The hotel is in a great location and it was clear improvements were being made. Would recommend people staying visit the waterpark, the sand dunes beach (€8 in a taxi from reception) and a trip to music square. We also booked an excursion with baracuda boat trips and we're fortunate enough to see dolphins, whales and sea turtles.

We stayed here at the end of July for 10 nights. I debated writing a review after 4 days to say how amazing this hotel is! I’m glad I didn’t. The food, the hygiene, the cross contamination. I don’t even know where to begin, there isn’t enough words to describe the nightmare that we witnessed and went through. My daughter was sick one evening during entertainment (we thought oh maybe too much sun, sweets etc) but it didn’t stop for hours and then diarrhoea started. At around 2am after a few hours, nothing was staying down every sip of water coming up. My husband went to reception to inform them (they didn’t seem to care at all) and request a doctor, the doctor came very quick and immediately said my daughter was dehydrated and called for an ambulance. While waiting I witnessed another woman come down asking for a doctor because her son was been sick. The doctor left me and my daughter to tend to this other sick child while we waited for the ambulance but not before telling me he had taken another child I think he was around 16 earlier the day from our hotel with same symptoms! When we got to the hospital we were told by nurses that 3 other people from our hotel were here with same symptoms! After spending the day in hospital, blood tests, fluids etc we returned later in the evening. The next day we requested our room be deep cleaned. Instead no maid came, I rang and my husband went down around 4pm to ask where the maids are, we were informed they had left for the day! Reception told me we can give you clean towels possibly! (Bedsheets were stained at this point from my poor daughter) That night I myself came down with the same symptoms (fortunately I didn’t need hospital) Speaking to many other holiday makers it was clear this was spreading fast. Everyone was coming down with it. Nothing was done, we were told there was a “bug around the whole island) NOT TRUE. We spoke to many others outside our hotel and no one had it, no other hotel was like ours! It was lies. Everything continued as normal while we were there, no sense of urgency to help stop the spread of whatever this was! Now my daughter didn’t really eat meat while we were there so while the cooking and handling of the raw and cooked meat is diabolical, I believe it was just whole cross contamination and lack of cleanliness in all areas (especially dessert area) Such a shame of what should and could have been a great holiday.

Where to start with this hotel. Upon arrival we are given our room key and a rough guide as to where the room is then sent on our way. Get to our room to find two single beds pushed together to make a double bed and a sofa bed that’s collapsed in the middle. We had a late arrival time so I decided I’d find out more tomorrow. Switch the air con on to cool the room down for bed time and that lasted 5 mins before breaking, again I just added to the list for the morning. In the morning I go to reception and ask if they can give me something better to sleep on than a broken sofa bed to be told that’s all they have. Told them about the air con and they said they would get it fixed that day. Get back that evening to no air con and a rusty old fan left in the room. Go back to reception the next morning and eventually they agree to change me rooms. In my head I was also hoping the sofa bed in the new room might be better as well, I was wrong. I then spent the whole holiday in the worst bed I’ve ever laid in. Now to the food! If your kids want more than pasta or pizza then don’t bother with the all inclusive and go out for dinner. The selection of food is very poor and the overall hygiene is very bad. We ended up giving up on the hotel food and went out for the last 5 days. The quiet pool has tiles missing from the floor so mind your feet and if u haven’t reserved a sunbed by 7am then forget it, even tho it states no reserving of beds before 10am The life guards all have their own rules as some allow certain inflatables while some don’t. Overall I would avoid this place and look somewhere else
