H10 Ocean Dreams Hotel Boutique - Adults Only

Just back from the H10 Ocean Dreams Adults Only in Fuerteventura. This is our 5th stay and have already booked to go again next October. The staff are so friendly, the food is delicious and the location is perfect. The fact that it is adults only is what attracts us to this hotel, I could not fault the hotel it ticks all the boxes. It was my partners birthday while we were there, and they left a bottle of Cava a petite box of chocolates and a 20% discount to be used in the Spa, I just thought this was a lovely touch as we never mentioned that it was his birthday. Roll on October 2025 as we are on our way. The only downside to advertising this hotel is that more and more people will go, a positive for the hotel but not a positive when you crave the peace and quiet that this hotel always offers. It's a thumbs up for me.

This was my second stay at the hotel and I have to say the service was unbelievable- customer service to this standard is hard to come by . We were here for two weeks and got to know a lot of the staff but felt it would be unfair to name as the whole team were amazing . Rooms were kept immaculate and all around the hotel was kept so clean . Food at the hotel was also to a very high standard . I am a vegetarian and was looked after very well and meals were adapted to accommodate me - nothing was too much trouble . Thanks so much to everyone for making our holiday so special

Lovely clean room, nice staff and a well maintained site. The issue fell on the last day. We had arrived late pm the previous Sunday, out of our control due to our flight delay. We had sadly missed dinner which we had paid for. Upon leaving, we came to check out and move our previous paid dinner to the lunch to which we were turned down. Understandably, something we had paid for was now not available to us, leaving us very confused and annoyed. We had spoke with the manager who wouldn’t offer us anything, even wouldn’t meet us half way. We really recommend not to pay for anything until you receive it! Through a valuable lesson, we won’t be returning to any of their sites.

Our stay at H10 Ocean Dreams in Corralejo was a bit of a mixed bag as we received a very lukewarm welcome on arrival compared to previous visits to H10 hotels, no offer of a glass of fizz or even water, and our room wasn’t ready so the receptionist pointed us in the direction of the bar where we could purchase a drink. We did see other guests later on during our stay being offered drinks by a different receptionist so I guess we were just unlucky on this occasion. We were told it would take an hour for our room to be ready so we waited in the bar. We had requested a quiet room (we’re aware that requests cannot be guaranteed) but our room was above the restaurant on one side and the pool machinery on the other with a road in front. It does seem that in order to have a room that doesn’t face a road you need to pay extra for a pool view room so you are facing inwards in this complex. During the rest of our stay we can say that most of the rest of the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. In particular Marta who always managed to look pleased to see us whenever we saw her. Also Jessica and Dilal and the rest of the animation team were great and provided us with some lovely cheese and wine tasting and also sampling the honey rum. We did have an encounter with an unpleasant member of staff in the restaurant on our last evening when we sat down without waiting for a member of staff to appear at the bottom of the stairs, although there is no sign that says please wait and our room number was always taken at the table when we ordered our food and drinks. We were told off like naughty children for not waiting and our punishment was no Cava this evening and this did put a bit of a sour note on our last meal. Suffice to say this hotel does have some lovely things going for it, but as we had stayed at H10 White Suites in Lanazarote earlier in the year it was sadly not up to our exceptional visit there.

We were pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the location. Positives included:- Room (suite) very comfortable and bright with lots of natural light (and decent black out blinds). Staff excellent, particularly Marta at breakfast, Jessica and the other lady on the animation team and reception staff. Some interesting and different activities included such as pool bikes, board yoga in pool, lovely yoga and some lunch time pool entertainment of decent quality. Brilliant location to walk to lots of great restaurants (just off the main *****). Area for improvement:- Water temperature in shower not consistent and bathroom, although fine, looked in need of bit of refreshing, for instance painting. We were B&B, stayed in one night for dinner but we were disappointed so just made it a one off. As others mentioned some of the pool umbrellas need replacing. We would certainly return if in the area again. Two final tips, the Banca March cash machine had no charge for withdrawals using Chase. Also car hire on the Island is very reasonable.
