Moorepark West House

Our room has a Jacuzzi and shower, which makes us excited. Room was very spacious. This hotel is next to a highway exit so it is very convenient to access to the highway. Surrounded by lawn and forest, very quiet. Breakfast including bread, milk, and cereal was provided.

What a beautiful place to stay. Perfectly clean every where you look. Full use of the Fully shocked kitchen and sitting room. Bedroom very big and and big bathroom. Could not fault anything there. Tricia was very welcoming.

Be aware that this place isn’t what it seems! Most of the photos on the website are of the main house and it’s hard to see the true picture of the 2 bedroom apartment. We booked a two bedroom apartment with free continental breakfast. In the cupboards there were a couple of opened and used boxes of cereal, half empty jars of instant coffee and opened and packets of biscuits and peanut butter. In the fridge was a half used bottle of milk that expired the next day. The bathroom was a long skinny room without a window in the middle of the 2 bedrooms. You had to walk through the shower to get to the toilet and basin which was extremely unsafe when you needed to use the toilet after someone had showered! We were given the excuse that they made it like that to accomodate wheelchair bound people. I think it would be extremely unsafe for them as well! We thought we’d be close to the main house with laundry facilities and a hairdryer. We didn’t have use of the laundry and had to request a hair dryer. We were very disappointed with this accommodation.

Stayed on visit to fermoy. Lovely room double bed and 3 single. Couch and large flatscreen TV with Netflix. Ensuite bathroom. There's a large communal kitchen, dining area with TV. Large choice of cereals and fruit. Sausages, bacon and eggs available to cook for your breakfast. Wi-Fi available. Had a nice stay, it suited me on this occasion. If you are looking for a cooked breakfast, not for you . Would have been 5 stars with cooked breakfast.

We recently travelled as a group to a handball tournament and needed accommodation from the friday to the sunday. This location was perfect for our needs There were 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, the other with a single and a bunk bed. There was also a sofa bed in the living area and a travel cot. We had full use of a fully functioning kitchen, cooker,microwave, fridge,kettle toaster etc with pots pans and dishes all on hand. The lovely hostess left us fresh fruit and bread and there was tea bags coffee and milk, cheese and ham as well. She also provided sausages eggs beans bacon for us to cook ourselves in the morning and if we needed anything else we were to just ask. The apartment was clean and warm and had plenty of hot running water. The apartment was also completely suitable for disabilities, with the bathroom fitted as a wetroom. There were fresh towels and clean bedding. Television and hair dryer, plenty of place to hang and put away clothing if staying for a longer period of time. We wernt about too long as we were at the tournament most of our trip but we noticed a lovely big garden area as well. Would definitely recommend staying here and if we are back down to this area we will definitely book here again if it is available. Brilliant quality and the price was very good between the four of us for the both nights

Such a wonderful stay. We had a large room with ensuite and direct access via some double doors entering the room. The bedsheets were fresh and the room clean and spotless. The host Trisha is a exceptional lady. You can see how hard she works to keep such a large house Spotless but also providing her personalised charm and top notch service that goes above & Beyond. I don’t know what she is paid but from the experience I had it’s not enough. Keep up the hard work Trisha we look forward to staying with you again so very soon.

The score is reflective of the outstanding hosting by Trish and son Scott. The duo are beyond welcoming. Helpful and hospitable in abundance. They make the experience. I would return for them alone. The rooms are dated as are facilities. Needs updating!

Great location , lovely house , excellent host Tricia , lovely common room , plenty of breakfast options , the only thing that lets this house down is the very uncomfortable poor quality beds and ancient bed linen , the duvet, pillows and bed linen needs replacing immediately. I’d say they were used in the ark . We had rooms 4 & 5 and the bedding was poor in both. Would I stay here again ? Yes only if the bedding issue was sorted.

Full of junkie hobos from the council. It was like a place for the people you see getting free food on the street in a city. Erics a joke for expecting people to pay to stay at a place like that with them.
