Hotels near The Temple Tower, Copenhagen

First time in Copenhagen and first time using a hostel with family. No worries as they love it, the hostel seems to be newly renovated and is clean and bright. Toilet/shower spotless with hair wash and conditioner supplied (actually whole hostel is spotless). Water still hot at 9:30am after a lot of shower use, have been in upmarket hotels that struggled to maintain hot water. Was surprised that the room was cleaned each day with fresh bedding and towels. Great location, buy the Copenhagen Discover card and it is super easy to get around, Metro/rail station within 5 minutes. We stayed for 3 nights on the first floor, we were not disturbed by neighbouring rooms as some said in reviews, yes the street is noisy with windows open, but when closed street noise vastly reduced. As it was warm when we stayed we had windows open (no air con) and still had a good night sleep. Nicely decorated ground floor reception and bar, comfortable seating and good range of beer/wine/coffee, also seating outside. The basement has a well equipped kitchen, pool table, games area on the left of the stairs and on the right of the stairs there are more toilets/showers and I came across another fridge freezer in addition to the kitchen. Would have no hesitation booking again when we return to Copenhagen.

We booked a room through Hotwire.com and were very pleased to find that we got the Mayfair Hotel in Copenhagen as it is very conveniently located in the Vesterbro area. We only booked for one night on the way to Schweden. The Hotel is very nice and big, but now here is the not so good bit. We booked the third an most expensive a twin room and we got a broom cupboard as a room. It had a 150cm wide bed, but you could only get in from one side. The bathroom was also beyond his heydays. If they want give you room 1044 decline it. With two people in it you could barely turn without hitting each other. Needless to say we were not happy with the room and went to complain. The manager was very apologetic and got our points. He offered us an upgrade to a bigger room, which had a nice king size bed. He wanted another DKK 260.00 for the night. In the end we got it cheaper, because we wanted a better room an were tired. In fact I would have expected a free upgrade but that did not happen. From a business point I would hire that manager, because he was very good at upselling. Just of this review, give room 1044 a wide birth

We had a great time in Comfort Hotel Vesterbro. The location is really good, close to all sightseeing places and restaurants. The staff is very nice and kind, always ready to help. The room and interior is modern and clean. WiFi is super fast, which is quite rare for such big hotels.

Room was relatively clean, only flaw I found was loads of hair on the shower drain but I am sure it was an unintentional omission. Furniture were functional and bed comfortable. It states they provide you with shampoo and shower gel but in reality they just gave us for 2 people, 4 sachets for 3 nights stay which was not enough and too much plastic packaging. Maybe would be worth in investing on refillable and mounted on the wall shampoo and shower gel holders? This would reduce the amount of your plastic waste? Breakfast was busy, but food was good quality and tasty. Overall it was a pleasant stay, I would stay there again.

Great hotel, very friendly and most accomodating reception staff, small but very clean rooms with wooden floors, delicious breakfast buffet, bikes to rent which is very conveniant to see all the beautiful sights and the bus/metro stations are close by. So a great hotel, friendly and conveniantly located.

Location: excellent. Just a relatively short walk to the train stations nearby. Amenities and conveniences all around. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. They are always available to you and ready to answer questions via the Cityhub app. (Psst. you can alter the colors of your Hub lights) Great and speedy Wi-Fi connection. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. You can leave your luggage at the lockers after checking out. Convenient! Lounge area is a great spot to hang out. There are drink vending machines, beer on tap and self-serve coffee machines available. You pay for them when checking-out and it’s affordable. I am a smaller person so the hub space and bed size was more than adequate. Bed was super comfy. They space guests out so you don’t have to worry much about noise and not getting a good night’s rest. There are charging and a couple of USB ports next to the bed plus a Bluetooth speaker for you to play some tunes. You’re also provided with fluffy towels and bathrobe. Communal kitchen - Basic amenities like microwave and kettle. Fridge: You can prep your food and store your leftovers in the plastic containers provided. You’ll just label them with your room number and date of check-out. Do bring flip flops for the showers, or you can buy basic toiletries from the vending machines. The spacious communal toilet area has shower and toilet stalls for privacy. Everything has been clean, private and most importantly, safe. Overall a fantastic experience!

I booked 18 nights here (1st half for vacation and 2nd half for medical treatment). There’s a tall guy at the receptionist who’s very kind and he made some arrangement for me right after I’ve told him my situation, gratefully appreciated. Somehow there’s miscommunication with another receptionist lady and I decided to speak to the lady manager instead, she’s very understandable and fix the issue quickly. Overall, the bed/linen is clean and comfortable for the price you paid for. I would recommend people who travel to Copenhagen with a budget or you plan a longer stay here, price per night is reasonable with simple and decent breakfast.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in late May 2024. You get the “new” feeling for everything given it is indeed just a few months in operation. The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe residential area by the port. During the day, you can expect “some work” going on around the vicinity but it is fine in my opinion. The room is considered self sufficient (no mini fridge, no bedroom slippers, no phone with just a few hangers). It is of a reasonable size for one, max two persons. Bed and pillows are comfy. The breakfast offered is unlike the usual massive buffet range but is considered very decent and healthy. Question is how much can one consume over breakfast. Several cosy eateries and supermarkets are located within walking distance. You can also chill or catch some good sun by the boardwalk nearby where people swim and yoga inside the little hut. If you wish to save some money, you should take the train from the airport and walk around 10-15mins to the hotel. Otherwise, taxi from the airport to the hotel vice versa can set you back by DKK500/- just for your guide. Rental of bicycles are available at DKK150/- per day at the hotel (new bikes). Traveling to the city, one-way transport by either bus or metro would cost around DKK24/-. Lastly, you can expect to be greeted by extremely courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Cheap yet very effective hotel. Clean and new. Beware of a very small bathroom. Close to Royal Arena (concert venue) and other office locations. 8 minutes by walk to the metro station. 5 metro stations distance to central (20 minutes travel time) (note: if you buy Copenhagen card as a tourist, public transport is included) Very close to the airport (2 train stops-11 minutes) There is a large shopping mall with a grocery store that opens at 7 am. Hotel offers buffet style breakfast

We were ending a cruise in Copenhagen and wanted to spend several days in the city. Being an IHG rewards member the Towers were our option! It is good to see great reviews for a hotel when making a booking and I have to add to the positive reviews! We had booked our room so we could get in the morning our cruise arrived. We had just walked in when alarms went off, say there was an emergency and to exit the building! What a welcome. It was over quickly (we were told it was some baking product burned in the kit). They sent us to enjoy the breakfast buffet while waiting for things to settle down! That was our first of four great breakfasts! The breakfast buffet was a great mix - we loved the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. They beat the same items on the cruise! We liked the safety feature that you had to have a key to go up on the elevator. The room was large and well equipped. Great bathroom. Nice that you can quickly walk to the metro or train station. Since it is a fairly isolated location it was nice to have The Bark.
