Absalon Hotel - Photo Gallery

I stayed for three nights at their single bedroom and I enjoyed my stay primarily for the location and the reception area with nice seats and sofas. The bar is open until evening and had coffees too. The location is just next to the main city train station and you can walk for 20 minutes to get to Tivoli, the Parliament House and for a little longer to the mermaid, docks, and war museum. My room was typical European extra small but the shower and bed are more comfortable than the typical budget room in Paris. The breakfast is continental and doesn’t change but they open by 6.30 am, which is a godsend if your flight is early or you’re an early bird. You can cross over to the opposite hotel to access a small gym room (no one used it so I enjoyed it). Absalon is expensive and there are cheaper options but I absolutely didn’t regret staying there.

Clean and neat hotel, would recommend for couples and families

Very helpful front desk, always willing to help out. Very kindly helped to get a taxi when I was unable to get one on Viggo due to the Easter holidays. Nice room that is clean with breakfast included. Super convenient location as well, just 4min away from the train station and good food options within walking distance. Able to take a nice 30min walk to the famous Nyhavn in the morning to explore. There are 3 steps to climb in the passageway to get to my room but it wasn’t a big issue for me - perhaps could ask for another room in another level if this is of concern.

All was really good, super close to central station and very clean :) Helped us out with lots of information and sold adapters. Only downside was the amenities, the hairdryer was terrible and kept cutting out. Other than that, lovely stay and really liked the fun LED lights in the bathroom haha

This is a self check in hotel, they will email room number and access guide a day before your check in date. I was surprised that the room was ready before check-in time, so that i don’t have to store my luggage to where-else. There is no lift, but thanks god my room is on ground level.. No kettle & no hair dryer provided in the room.. Simple breakfast provided in the morning Conclusion : You get what you pay for

The room is bigger enough, comfort, clean and warm, location is near central station. The reception is friendly and communicative as well. The breakfast is good enough for us its meals variation.

Convenient location. 20 mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk away from the station and central train station. Though the pathway has cobbled stones so could be challenging dragging luggages across. I booked a single room and upon getting to my first room, I realized I had to manoeuvre a flight of steps to get to the room, which I immediately u-turned back to the reception to ask for a room change. That's when I was told that all single room types are at the 'sub levels' that have stairs. I wished someone mentioned this in the reviews earlier. It was already a pain dragging a heavy luggage on carpet, this is made worse with the flight of steps in between. The room is small but they have put in smart features to maximize space. I like the open wardrobe concept and how they've incorporated the luggage rack as a folding style from the mirror/wardrobe. Shower area is a bit small, but water pressure of the rain-shower head is good. Bed and pillow are softer than I would prefer. The pillow is so soft it's almost as good as not having one. Breakfast was excellent, a good spread of pastries, bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and sausages. I love it that the staff are very prompt in refilling whatever is running low and in clearing plates.

Location is great, walking distance between train station or metro station

Near to central station. Few steps away there are Chinese/thai/jap/western restaurant. Nearby there’s a 7-11. Bad thing is that at night u will see girls starting outside the hotels at the surrounding even graveyard time.
