Novotel Constantine Reviews

Arrived at hotel for them to tell us we don’t have any rooms. After we showed them our booking confirmation and receipt for 3 rooms they said that this is not the case and we have 1 room which hasn’t even been paid. We should them the payment receipt only to be told that this is still not the case. Trip.com customer service then called them and they magically found the rooms after shouting profanities and being the most difficult customer services providers ever. Nothing was offered to us to compensate us for our troubles. I would not recommend this hotel if you are not well travelled as no matter what you do, you can’t argue with incompetence.

good hotel, in the heart of Constantine….breakfast very plentiful but unluckily not included and to be paid separately (1800 DZD)….nice room

The hotel location is at the city center, close to attractions, food and shopping. The staffs speak limited english which led to some communication difficulties. The hotel offered only 1 mineral water and 1 coffee sachet for free while there were 2 of us. Overall, it was a pleasent stay but the hotel could have provided better services.

First, when we arrived it took them a while to finish our check in, also , cleaning services showed up only once during the whole week , we had to ask for water bottles and the towels, also we had to throw the garbage. Second, the breakfast was good, with many choices , everything was fresh and tasty. The room was spacious and clean. The location is good, the hotel is surrounded by different shops, taxis are available all the time .

JUST AVERAGE HOTEL My recent hotel experience was a mixed bag The welcome was genuinely warm, which was a great start However, the room itself wasn't clean I noticed cut corners on the nightstand and hairs on the bathroom floor, which was disappointing On the bright side, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the parking attendants were very kind The breakfast was decent enough to get the day started.

Small beds, but over all ok. No suplies in rooms like cup for coffee, but there is a kettle. Nice view. Breakfast had a nice choice. Compering Adef in Oran, Novotel looks like luxury. Very polite staff, people on reception speak english. Over all, nice experience. Wifi was ok in the rooms, and other parts of hotel.

The hotel looks like a typical Novotel. The room was nice overall but the bathroom shower needs work. Lots of rusty parts. The coldest temperature setting was too hot and the pressure wasnt good. I think these are the worst pillows I've ever felt. Very had and lumpy, like pieces of hard foam that were split apart. The sheets weren't very smooth either. If I ever come back, I might try the ibis. I think these two places are where more business people stay.

The only good thing about this hotel is the reception staff. Wifi and beds were okay. Rooms and hallways were not well cleaned with a thick layer of dust along the walls in the hallway. The worst part was the so called breakfast unless you call boiled eggs and olives breakfast. We only had fresh bread on one morning out of four. Otherwise the same dry sliced bread was put out all four days. I would avoid this place.

Great clean and modern hotel right in the center. Wonderful shower, great bed, all very clean. Room was reasonable size. Check in staff made it easy. Have a choice of views as well. There is a buffet dinner - but it stated too late for me (true of the bar as well).

They knowingly overcharged us when we arrived (only a couple of pounds, but still!), checkin was slow, cigarette holes in furnishings, had to ask three times to get third bed, so not what you expect from Novotel. Location is great. (Breakfast might have been great but we didn't have it.)

Si ha is amazing! All are so kind. At the restaurant too! We only saw that they are cutting the flowers out side at the parking area, and putting plastic. So horrible and sad. We complained but nobody listen. We believe that earth needs us. 😣😣😣😣

This Novotel rather feels like an Ibis (which is next doors), very "budget". Our room 407 was pretty much standard, with 2 sgl beds and a desk. A bathroom with walk-in shower. There were no toiletries to be found, so I rang reception and they brought 2 measly tiny bottles. The room was clean, but corridors badly needed cleaning or new carpets. It is a sad reflection on "tourism in Constantine" that it ranks #1.

Good location. Expensive terrible food. Restaurants nearby. Love all the reception staff and the nighttime maintenance man. Reception people all very kind and tried to be helpful. A view over the valley worth asking for. Could see the river and green hills. Tiny room and view made it bigger.

Hotel is one of the best in Constantine and the foremost with the central location at the heart of the city downtown. A modern business centre , Exellent International breakfast with a traditional touch , a lovely view toward the river and the montagne or toward the city. Truly, the staff of the hotel are doing amazing work despite the reduced manpower. Distinction to : Redha and Wafa from house keeping keen to details and very polite. Doria at the reception was exceptional, Always wearing a smile and very helpful and professional. Haoua and wissam at the restaurant was very helpful and gave extra treat to my toddlers . Karim from the senior management who shows a top level of Customer care.
