We had a very comfortable stay. A nice room, a small terrace with view on flowers and trees. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We could get in earlier than the check-in time, which was nice for us. Breakfast outside on the terrace. Constantia is a nice area. So we enjoyed this stay very much!

Wir haben zwei Zimmer gebucht, die generell ganz schön von der Ausstattung waren, aber… der Service war ein glatter Reinfall! Wir wurden eher als Störer empfunden, obwohl wir am späten Nachmittag erst angereist sind. Angetrunkene Getränke waren noch im Kühlschrank und dafür kein Wasser auf den Zimmern. Das Frühstück mussten wir drinnen einnehmen, weil die junge Servicekraft keine Lust hatte auf der Terrasse einzudecken, so reihte sich eins ans andere.

This property was nice to visit although signage is a bit of a struggle. Also, check in process was through housekeepers (who are amazing and friendly). This would be good for a couple who have a car but not as a solo traveler.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Kapstadt
Es hat alles gut geklappt , Am Anfang gab es Probleme mit dem Internet , wurde aber am nächsten Tag schnell gelöst. Das Frühstück hätte etwas ausreichender sein können . Gut war es das wir später aus checken konnten , da unser Flug nach Frankfurt erst gegen Abend statt fand .

Good day, I recently stayed at the Southern Light Country house in Cape Town. I absolutely enjoyed my spacious room, friendly staff and great breakfast! Please tell Milo i'm sorry I scared her LOL but she gave me a fright LOL!! I would highly recoment Lighthouse and I look forward to visiting again soon.

I have to say this place was very disappointing and not nearly as nice as it shows in the photos, particularly the pool area. Although it is in the heart of the wine Constantia wine growing area it operates a strict no alcohol consumption policy. Being Halaal don’t expect bacon or pork sausages for breakfast. Also the wifi reception is very poor throughout the premises. On the plus side, the rooms are nice, well kept and spacious.
