Has been staying few days in Constanta on my business trip. Nice small hotel. Nearby have Cermed medical center in case if some interesting. Also nearby small supermarket 24hours. Room is big. Hotel provide a breakfast only. Have lobby bar.

Ik ben totaal onder de indruk wat heb ik me gemaakt in dit hotel. Kort gezegd de hotel heeft bedwanze en de manager en volledige personeel heeft geen aandacht aan mijn lijden. Ik ben precies de leugenaar ondanks mijn vele steken. De laatste vier nachten ik heb niet meer geslapen, en ik ben ziek geweest. Ik ben daar vanaf 5/09 tot en met 14/09 Ik ben steeds ziek en heel ongerust, wat heb ik me gebracht thuis. Het hotel verdiend geen vier sterren, zijn zo veel mankementen daar... .. A very unpleasant and unclean place There is no parking at all and the attitude of the employees is terrible Bigg nooo I do not recommend visiting the food is not tasty and aesthetic The employees don't care about the guests and there is no response to requests. Sometimes even the cleaning lady doesn't come

We had a very nice one night stay at this hotel. Big room with confortable beds, huge bathroom, good breakfast with both savouty and sweet choices, and most important - very nice and considerate reception ladies. We will definetly come back!

Ambra hotel? never ever again. Dishonest and disrespectful. Using a non refundable rate, I booked a room at the Ambra 3 months in advance. At around $50/night this is the usual advance rate available on the major booking sites for that hotel. The booking got confirmed but 3 days before the start of my stay the hotel sent me an email telling me to call them otherwise they would cancel the booking. Zero detail provided. On my request (through email) to provide me with the specifics I got an answer telling me that the rate I had paid was wrong and requesting me to pay 50% more. They even dared to mention that the price I got was probably the result of a hack. No kidding. They told me the rate was ... "not fair". Greed. Dishonesty. Anyway after contacting the major site I had used for the booking at the Ambra hotel, I got promptly relocated to another hotel in the city at no additional cost. Reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I guess that was the best move as I enjoyed every minute at the new location with a fantastic service and great amenities. Now for sure I will never ever use the services of the Ambra hotel. Lesson learned.

The room was ok, with a huge and comfortable double bed and a different bed for our 6 years old kiddo. The sheets clean, the bathroom with everything needed, clean. And also the phone is a piece of art and such a curiosity to understand for our boy. The location was also perfect for us as there is a walking distance (15-20 mins) from the old city, museums... The hotel looks very nice at the interior and it's a pleasure to take a little tour of it. I loved the interior of the hotel and the way it was decorated. Also did my kiddo :) There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. It is true that it's a little bit small, but it's perfect for a city center parking lot. In the room there is a minibar, 2 glasses of beer, a kettle, but nothing else more. No tea, no coffee, no cups. We stayed from Friday evening till Sunday. During our stay nobody took our garbage out. We also had some issues with the breakfast on Saturday, but the things got better on Sunday. If you order coffee and want to take it in the room and enjoy on the balcony, you have to pay an extra tax of room service. We were prepared of having a noisy room as the hotel is in the center of the city, on a large boulevard. But we also had noise coming from the rooms near us. The people were talking and it was as they were in our room, with us. Taking into consideration the location, the cleanliness and the hope that the things will get better, I would give it another try.
