This is an incredible spot to stay! We were amazed by the location and the staff at this gorgeous hotel nestled in the hills. The rooms were incredible, clean and spacious. Our cabin overlooked the valley and felt like we were just inside a forest. The bathrooms as beautiful with a huge bathtub and wonderful string shower. The food here is incredible and fresh and the dining room overlooks a lovely valley that is perfect to watch the sun go down. It’s very close to all the walking trails and there are very few tourists here even in the height of the season. It’s a hidden gem! Would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a great experience! The staff went over and above to make our stay incredible. Will visit again!

We were the only family staying there that day, and I guess most of the business was taken away by the homestays at the entrance of Jiabang Terraces. The room we booked did not include breakfast. We arrived after 9pm and there was no dinner, so we had to try our luck at the shop next door. Fortunately, the kind lady boss shared food with us. The facilities in the house are relatively simple. There is no toilet, but there is a squatting toilet in the shower area. Basic toiletries and slippers are provided. The bed is relatively hard and has an electric blanket. The nights at the end of March are still very cold. In the morning, you will be woken up by the crowing of chickens outside the house, and experience the rural life. I discussed with the boss lady in the morning and got a bowl of noodles. The fried egg was especially delicious! We started visiting the terraced fields in the morning. After going up the stairs opposite the hotel and turning right, there was an observation deck. We could visit several major terraced fields along the way, which was very convenient.

In terms of appearance, it’s hard not to be impressed by this B&B! The room is fresh, clean and visually bright. You can see the terraced fields through the tatami bed early in the morning! Drinking a cup of tea in a leisurely afternoon, sitting on the tatami floor-to-ceiling windows and looking at the terraced fields outside, it couldn't be too happy!

We went to see the Jiabang Rice Terraces and accidentally chose Nongshanju. This was the most comfortable stay in our trip to Guizhou. The B&B is near the Sixth Observation Deck. The Sixth Observation Deck is the best place to watch the sunrise over the rice terraces in the morning. The boss and his wife are both local Miao people, very kind and neat. The room is clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. In the evening, we had a home-cooked meal cooked by the boss, which is very suitable for our Shandong people's taste. The vegetables are all freshly picked from his small vegetable garden. The boss also served us a pot of his own brewed glutinous rice wine, which was refreshing and delicious. Suddenly disappear.
