Mirador Maspalomas by Dunas

The animation team was very friendly and lively. They came up with a variety of different activities which kept us very entertained during our stay. They also had great activities for the children in the mini club and a stage where they performed! Singing, karaoke, dancing, group dance, Lion king dance. I really received this hotel for all generic the stay, the food, the pool and the facilities!

The animation team made us feel so welcome and gave us so much advice on how to enjoy our time in the resort. we enjoyed how interactive they were with the adults and children. we enjoyed watching the dancing and singing. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome ♥️🙏♥️

Me and my partner were really looking forward to this hotel as we saw the reviews but as we got there it was just disappointment, when we was going through our room with the staff we was told we had to pay an extra 20 euros a day for a room with aircon which is not detailed anywhere on the site , when we got to our room it wasn’t the best of rooms it was very basic and simple for the amount we payed for our hotel if you don’t pay extras they put you in a basic room , we had a pull out bed which had this nasty big round stain on it which goes to show they ain’t paying much attention to cleaning the rooms , we were very disappointed with the dinner and lunch as we don’t feel it’s very catered to English people at all there’s no menu to tell you what the food is going to be but there was many nights me and my partner didn’t eat and was just dissatisfied with the food , it’s either the same food every night or food which a lot of English tourists won’t be fond off , we had to stay at the pool bar and eat a lot of pizza or chicken nuggets which was disappointing and boring as we thought that the food was going to be enjoyable I feel as there should definitely be menus and be more catered to tourists , while getting drinks there was a bartender who kept having an attitude when it came to ordering alcoholic drinks and huffing and puffing which is just so inappropriate, id say the only thing that was enjoyable for us was the entertainment when there was circus acts and stuff like that but it’s just a shame it’s more catered to older people then young generation couples unfortunately

I’ll start by saying that most of the reviews you’ve seen on here, are from the staff asking to use your phone at the poolside and leaving the hotel good reviews…so I wouldn’t trust the reviews. We’ve had a few incidents here where we’ve been left feeling a little bit let down and annoyed. One incident, was that a cleaner wouldn’t allow us to get water at 10:30am (even though there was a walkway they hadn’t got to yet and our bottles wouldn’t fit under the other machines) - they were shouting at us and then proceeded to move from where they were on the other side of the bar and soak the tiles surrounding us so that it was slippery for us to get out (with our child there) whilst shouting at us. I absolutely wouldn’t be returning or recommending to anyone at all.
