AVOID AVOID - worst accommodation ever stayed at abroad. Fun police (lifeguard) does not allow any fun in pool. No inflatables of any size (even though the pool x2 and one being very large) are allowed. Not even allowed a small ball to play with even though a large ball is allowed for a game of water polo. Also, you can't go and lie on a sun lounger until after 10.00 when they are unlocked even though the sun is out much earlier. Rooms aren't great and no storage at all apart from a wardrobe. Air conditioning only in bedroom and so the people who sleep on pull out beds in lounge aren't cool and woken early by the white light curtains which keep out zero light even with the doors outside closed and the kitchen door has no covering which also feeds into the lounge. Internet is poor even when rebooting in room / none in reception. I'd be very surprised if anyone ever returns here. Don't listen to reception on best supermarkets as there is a Mercadona (about 8 euros there and back) which is much bigger / cheaper than the local ones where you will easily recoup the taxi fare !

On arrival we was meet by a very rude man on reception I didnt catch his name, he had grey hair. Once we got to our room it was not as described in the booking process, the room stunk of grease and was so hot we felt like we was gonna suffocate later we discovered The room was a sun trap with a massive solar panel on the roof, it’s was very dirty too the floors were black in fact the rooms was filthy it was not cleaned for out arrival, And I noticed the air con was not making any difference with it being in the bedroom and set at the wrong temperature,we was in room 168 and it was close to the road and felt very unsafe the front doors did not feel secure,I asked for a room upgrade explained our concerns and was told it was fully booked, here’s the remote for the air con and the tv he said to me as a good will gesture!! Surely this should be standard! I was confused, we was able to keep the bedroom a little cooler once the remote was kindly giving to us, I over heard him tell one guest the air con to be switched on is 6 euros and 10 euros for the control I mean are they serious 🧐 we was in the middle of a heat wave, I had to hang towels at the windows to stop the sun coming in which was causing the room to be extremely hot as there is no curtains only nets, also had to go and buy cleaning products to bring it up to living standards as the fridge was rotten the cooker was dirty the bathroom smelt like a public toilet,it smelt better once it was cleaned.giant cob webs everywhere so dated the bedroom furniture was broken the head board was not connected to anything the wall or the bed, then the beds the cripple beds and the pull out bed was awful, the rock hard pillows gave me a neck ache and back ache for the time I was there!! Road sweepers outside at 4.30 am every morning was a problem waking us up, We only slept in the room and washed up I was out all the time I don’t come on holiday to sit in a room, There’s nothing at this location only a tiny shop that is over priced and closes at 7pm, No restaurants, only a taxi ride away that cost 10 euros each way, The beach is 20 minutes in a taxi not 20 minute walk more like 1 hour yes there’s a free bus we did not us this. The pool was lovely but the battle to get a umbrella is just a headache, Only the Spanish people are allowed to have balls and floats in the pool I saw the guard turn a blind eye on this many times but anyone who is not of Spanish heritage was screamed at to remove them from the pool, Playa De ingles is great for nighttime entertainment good food great bars and the sand dunes was lovely at sunset, Maspolmas is lovely too,Amadores beach is great day out and Mogan, There’s only breakfast served here and lunch at the bar we didn’t eat the breakfast but lunched at the bar, Was a nice holiday for a quick week in Spain on the cheap, but cheap is what it was and I didn’t expect it to be this bad!! Was so happy to sleep in my bed when I got home……. Gran canRia is great been a few times but this w

Our third stay now and will definitely be back again, superior bungalow lovely space for us, air con brilliant and cleaned every other day, we never eat at hotel apart from pool bar and the meal never let us down, always fresh and reasonably priced. Staff all lovely and nothing any hassle. It is a bit further out which we don’t mind at all, quite, no screaming entertainment after 10pm which suits us fine. No complaints what so ever. Lovely big pool, no inflatables allowed which makes it a pleasure to swim in, although do appreciate kids could do with some exemptions.

We got this holiday through easyjet extremely cheap so we cant really complain. We had a standard bungalow which was absolutely fine other than the air con was only in the bedroom and wasn't very powerful, which meant the bungalow was always extremely humid and hot. Unfortunately I'd say 5 night of our 7 there was constant loud shouting and partying from Spanish holiday makers on their patio area of there bungalows. We did notice that it was very Spanish dominating and we compared it to there version of a haven holiday. They would reserve beds early in the morning then most wouldnt arrive till 5pm when the lifeguard come and they would just completely take over. Music blaring through speakers and we even returned at 10pm one night and they was still in the pool. Big negative for us was that it was far away from everything. We expected a 5 euro taxi each night but it average cost us 8 euro each way which really added up for a 7 night stay when we didn't really have a choice as there was literally nothing around. 100% recommend you hire a car. We wouldnt return Unfortunately but we did still have a nice time. It just wasn't for us.

We’ve recently returned from a fairly enjoyable but certainly eventful week long stay at the Caybeach Princess. The location is a wee bit remote but we’ve stayed before and knew what to expect. I would say it’s roughly a half mile walk to find the nearest bar or restaurant. However, there is a courtesy bus that runs at regular intervals down to Meloneras. Maspalomas itself is 30mins from Las Palmas Airport. The first half of our week was fairly quiet and you could get a sunbed quite easily. The second half just seemed to explode as there were loads of Spanish school kids due to it being the start of their school holidays. We also had a serious issue with our bungalow that was out with the control of the Complex and many thanks to Paula at reception for sorting it out swiftly and professionally. Our accommodation itself was really nice. The living room/kitchen wasn’t big but certainly comfortable. Our bathroom was modern and had a big walk in shower which was really powerful. The bedroom had two single beds pushed together and sliding wardrobes. Our only aircon unit was fitted here and it was needed most of the time due to the hot weather. It was free as well which was a bonus. All the bungalows have nice veranda’s with a plastic table and chairs. The one big no-no for us was that a lot of the bungalows have an adjoining door that separates you from the building next door. The people through the wall could very easily be heard and I’m surprised it’s not really been mentioned much in previous reviews! One of the big attractions at the Caybeach is the two swimming pools. One especially is massive and well looked after. There was a very helpful Lifeguard on duty from 10am to 6pm. The pool bar was ok, nothing special. The lads that served in it were really nice but the food was a bit basic and overpriced for what you got. Lager was €3.90 a pint, 330ml bottle of Strongbow cider €5 and most cocktails around €7. There was only one Happy Hour from 5pm to 6pm. Anytime we were there at this time it was surprisingly quiet. We actually spent a lot of our time at the Palm Kasino bar up at Holiday World. It was only €3 for a really nice pint of Tropical and €4.75 for a big measure of Malibu and a can of Diet Coke. Outside it had a nice sitting area that was an absolute sun trap. We would certainly stay at Caybeach Princess again. The location certainly suits someone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Although taxis are only €4.50, I wouldn’t recommend anyone with walking difficulties to book here.

First trip to Gran Canaria, first time in Caybeach. It was a nice time, we weren't in the hotel all the time because we were exploring the island but first of all the breakfast was the same every day, nothing changed there, the menu looked the same for a week, breakfast open from 8-10, it should definitely be longer so that you don't have to rush in the morning especially with children, after all we have holidays No food nearby, only a small supermarket, but if you want to buy something after 19:00 you have to walk 2 km to the shops or take a bus. The accommodation staff was friendly, but the rooms, kitchen are not really clean, they only take dirty towels and rubbish. I had to clean the floor myself. new towels every other day, sheets changed every 3rd day. in the evening no attractions, music, absolutely zero, on Saturday someone only plays until 10 pm and that's it. next time I would look for another place

Hi Firstly we had a great stay and everyone was lovely so thank you for that. We had the best holiday, place was spotless and staff were polite ~ bar food was not great and the pool was freezing but we loved the location and the fact we always got a sun bed. Great bonus was the free bus to the beach which was really useful. Everyone was so friendly! Entertainment Friday and Saturday evening, very low key. No inflatables at the pool, didn't bother me but if you have kids it will. Great location if you like it quiet. Clean and tidy accommodation infact we really loved the bungalow, like a little home from home. We would 100% stay here again but would not eat here. The food we had that was cooked on another day was not very nice at all. NOW THE BAD BIT 😳 Sadly we were served two raw chicken burgers on the 31/05/25 at 18:35 from the pool side bar. This was due to a problem with the grill or gas apparently? That's fine but serving raw (and I mean raw) chicken is not acceptable. Carlos apologised and took my card to issue a refund of 26.40 euros on the same day at 19:40 but for some reason I didn't receive it in my bank. We did speak to reception on our last day and were told it would be sorted out but I still have not received a refund? I have the receipt and the card receipt for the refund but no payment at all. Sorry for posting on here but my emails are not getting through. Could you please follow this up and issue the full refund. We stayed in room number 151 for 2 weeks. Both Carlos and Adrian were aware of the issue with the raw food & to be fair looked mortified that it was even served. Many thanks David & Michelle
