Great value for money. We had room no 202 and the view from the balcony was beautiful overlooking the city and the pools. We also had a refurbished bathroom , kitchen and new A/C which worked just fine. The bed was comfortable but there was some noise from outside so earplugs were a must. Otherwise a bit worn down surfaces, could use a bit of fresh paint, but nothing too bad. Had a few small ants now and again but didn’t really bother us. The restaurant, minimarket, gym and pool areas were clean and very enjoyable. Also the toilets by the pools seemed to have been recently refurbished and they were cleaned regularly. The pools could use some new grouting. The service at the restaurant was amazing, wonderful staff. Also the food was really good, both breakfeast buffet and lunch ala carte. Really enjoyed playing tennis every morning and the gym was well equipped. Didn’t attend any fitness classes but they seemed quite popular!

Fantastic hotel & a beautiful place to stay. Staff were so welcoming & helpful. On arrival we had wine & food ready in our apartment due to late arrival. The facilities were amazing both in & around the complex. All inclusive food & drinks were delicious & well organised. Evening entertainment was great. The room, all hotel spaces cleaned daily & smelt/looked clean. We left feeling relaxed & will definitely go again.

Stayed here as a couple on a B&B basis. The first thing you notice is how quiet & civilised it is. The clientele when we stayed were mostly Scandanavian, with a few British & German couples also. We stayed in a 2nd floor room which overlooked the larger of the 3 pools. The room was decent, clean & equipped with a small kitchen area. Bedding & towels can be changed everyday if required & the rooms are cleaned daily. It was perfect for what we needed it for. The pool areas are also quiet, with the majority of guests respecting each others privacy & personal space. No large groups or noisy guests to contend with makes such a difference to a holiday. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast, but this was of good quality & the choices available were large & varied. You would be hard pushed to find something that you didn't like. We found that eating breakfast anytime before 8.45 was better as there were less people in the dining area & any queues were at a minimum. The bar area is spacious with a mix of tables, chairs & very comfortable sofas. There is plenty of seating & there is entertainment in the form of a solo or duet of singers most nights. We found the staff helpful, pleasant & courteous in our dealings with them. The reception staff were also very professional & happy to assist with any questions or queries we had. I would definitely return. The location is a little out of the way from bars & restaurants (10/15 minute walk) but do not let this put you off.

**Room types:** 1 apartment with separate bedroom + 1 studio **Return after 13 years** This was my second visit to this hotel. I had been here before in 2012 and wrote a much more negative review back then. I called the hotel "soulless" at the time and found everything average. Now, 13 years later, I have come to appreciate this hotel much more. My original review was unfairly influenced by the disappointing surroundings of Playa del Inglés, while the hotel itself can't help that. I now realize that I didn't judge the hotel on its own merits back then. **Accommodation** The rooms are spacious and practically furnished. The studio was surprisingly large, even suitable for a couple. Both rooms have a well-equipped kitchen with electric hob for 2 pans, refrigerator with freezer compartment and microwave. The apartment did have some maintenance issues (peeling wall paint, sticking entrance door), and the bathroom in the studio was more dated compared to the apartment. In the apartment, the TV hangs in a non-ergonomic position. Although all TVs have a Chromecast, only one worked. The housekeepers do excellent work. Not only are the rooms always well cleaned, you always see someone cleaning somewhere in the hotel. **Location and surroundings** The hotel is quite far from the beach. Playa del Inglés itself is disappointing because there's little noteworthy to find. There is a small tourist supermarket around the corner. My advice: just stay at the hotel, because it's much nicer there. What I now understand better is that the quiet location of the hotel is actually an advantage because you're away from the chaos of the tourist center. **Facilities** All swimming pools are heated with sufficient sun loungers. The buffet restaurant offers good quality food, although the choice is more limited than at other all-inclusive hotels. The dining room is quite warm though. You are escorted to your seat by a waiter, after which everything is self-service. The bar serves quality alcohol, but takeaway drinks come in cardboard cups. The entertainment consists of musician duos with a repertoire that suits an older audience better. Something more modern would be nicer for guests between 28-49 years old. **Service** The staff in restaurant and bar are very friendly. The reception is also friendly, but sometimes somewhat inexperienced (trainee). Information provision could be better. Late checkout could only be confirmed on the day itself. **Highlights** The hotel has heated swimming pools with sufficient sun loungers. The service is friendly and there's a good general atmosphere, especially during the first half of my stay. The practical kitchen facilities in the room are very handy. The cleaning and maintenance are also excellent. What I especially appreciate now is the peace and relaxed atmosphere the hotel offers, something I wrongly labeled as "boring" in 2012. **Areas for improvement** These points are not serious, but could further enhance the experience. As regular swimmers we especially appreciated the 3 swimming pools that in November are comfortably warmed to spend as much time in the water as we liked. The pools are 25-30m long so condition swimming is possible and most of the time there was plenty of space to swim as much as we liked. Thanks to the staff who maintained the pools and pool area well. Good sun chairs and easily available since reserving of sun chairs was not allowed. One of the pools was even warmer than the others and was used for pool aerobics twice a day. The free sports activities were appreciated. We had buffet dinners twice at the 15% discount voucher offered to guests who don’t want meals included. Food was good, perhaps not fantastic, but definitely good. I don’t think we would have wanted meals included anyway, since it gets boring eating the same way all the time. There is a good Spar supermarket around the corner with a good variety of local produce and the room has a functional little kitchenette. I appreciated the combination microwave oven with a grill. I had to search the internet for instructions on how to use the microwave (!) but it worked well once I figured it out. The rooms are better than we expected. Very well planned, functional and comfortable and good ventilation. The shower is specious and the shower door didn’t leak at all. Good that there’s a window in the bathroom. Beds are good enough and we slept well. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about. Mostly we enjoyed having a big sunny private terrace with a pleasant view towards Maspalomas and the trees in the garden. Suntime hotel offered free baggage check in for our flight home at the hotel. This is a great service and makes the return journey very enjoyable since one doesn’t need to queue at the airport or drag suitcases to the airport. This is an excellent bonus at this hotel! We just printed out our suitcases tags, handed them over at the hotel and walked 500m to the local bus stop. Only 3,50€ to get to the airport and the local bus 66 is fast with a departure every hour. The hotel staff were all friendly and professional and helpful - every one! Thank you for a good holiday.

Problems are not the hotel building itself. but with the morning entertainment. always the same ABBA playing every day. I clearly see the staff has lack of taste in music. This hotel lacks the target for Finnish holidaymakers. Its all just for scandinavia.

A popular hotel which has mostly Scandinavia clientele, 50 year olds plus. Although there were younger persons present I would suggest the ambience and culture of the hotel would not hold much in store for them. Having said that, the lively Yumbo Centre is less than 10 minute walk away, Maspalomas and Playa a further 10 minutes walk and Melonaras with its high end shops and restaurants only a short taxi ride. We stayed on the third floor in a one room apartment on an all-inclusive basis. The room well equipped and spotlessly clean. Made up daily with towel and linen change as requested. Room noise was minor but as we were above the loading entrance we were regularly awoken by lorries either from this hotel or our neighbours from 0500hrs on some mornings. We had a small balcony (longer ones elsewhere), but the design of the hotel meant they were all overlooked. Some of the rooms on the ground floor were pretty poorly situated; I think you would be disappointed if you had one of these. The tiled floor was uneven in the room and could cause a foot injury so would recommend the wearing of slippers (provided) or similar at all times. The remainder of the hotel was equally clean and in the main, well maintained. Sunbeds, bins, outside cleaned and area jet washed frequently. The Spa area was closed for a short while (appeared a new pump and filter needed) and one of the lift required intermittent maintenance. One area I was surprised to see were the amount of cracked tiles and missing grouting around the pools. Again, accidents waiting to happen. No signage, so wear outside shoes at all times. Covers were replaced on the Ikea furniture in the lounge whilst we were there. Entertainment reflected the demographic of the clientele. Generally of a good standard, but not on each night. The yoga / fitness instructor was very good and we enjoyed the activities with her. There is a gym, can get busy, and looked to have sufficient kit. Food was indifferent at times. Breakfast good, buffet lunch and dinner not so especially on the weekend when there also seemed to be less staff working. The buffet restaurant closes at 2100hrs (not the a la carte), but at times the popular dishes would be gone by 2000hrs. By which time some of the other dishes were cold. I would add that this is not entirely the fault of the hotel as the amount of gluttony and wasted food seen, despite polite notices, was shameful. It can get busy during peak times and although the hotel has a system (wait at the entrance to be seated), some guests were unaware or believed it did not apply to them, resulting in wandering guests with plates of food piled high, looking for an unoccupied table. It didn’t help that the restaurant had two entrances; one that was supervised, the other not. The restaurant had themed nights although the majority of dishes remained un-themed. In other hotels we stayed at the staff were always publicly applauded during the evening; it would be nice to see this here a

Booking through Jet2. This is the first time been to this hi class hotel. I say this because its amenities and service are excellent, Adult only but the peacefulness around the pool is superb. My goodness it’s quiet plus 3 pools to choose from. Each a little smaller than other, but perfect. Staff fabulous. Nothing too much. Cleaning everyday if want it. Cheerful staff . The food is second to none, my goodness the choice in breakfast Wow, you couldn’t complain if you wanted too. Absolutely brilliant. , spotless area to eat and take the buffet from. (. Would prefer some foods eggs etc to be hotter, not sure if lights were hot enough). But maybe an English thing ? Anyways apart from this the glorious place is perfect for that couple experiences, older people maybe, Want to see the choice at dinner time. Another Wow Close to gumbo shopping centre, 15min walk. Other places to taxi too or walk, weather fabulous. We are returning 26 for deffo Dave black lpool

We arrived with a lovely welcome and glass of bubbly. And given all details we could need. Our room was lovely, however from a personal note the first night sleep wasnt great as our bedroom was at the back of the apartment with blinds that let so much light in from the street and our air-con didnt work. I was amazed at how quickly and happily they were to offer us another room with a poolside bedroom. A tip there for anyone who wants poolside in the suite section all the even number rooms have the bedroom on this side. They also confirmed the air-con did need tending too. Our whole two week stay was amazing. All the staff from reception, house keeping and restaurant were so nice polite and professional. The pool area is lovely. There were always sun beds available and never too noisy, in-fact its a very tranquil place to stay. Along with a great fully stocked shop and pool bar. People of all ages come here so no one would feel out of place. There is really little one could fault on the hotel. If you are unsure, give it a go. You wont be disappointed. We will most definitely be back and we cant wait. May even try all inclusive. Thank you all.
