Pros: lots of wildlife, kind and helpful tour guides and restaurant staff.
Cons: Our bed fell apart while we were sleeping, not a great way to wake up.

Sehr schön angelegte Hotelanlage. Essen gut,es gibt Frühstück,Mittagessen,Abendessen. Die Zimmer/Lodgezimmer groß,mit Ventilator ausgestattet. Zimmer hat keine Glasfenster nur Mückennetze. Anziehsachen waren immer etwas klamm. Schöne Schaukelstühle auf der Veranda. Pool sehr erfrischend und die Bars sind zu empfehlen.

It gives you a legit jungle experience. The only way in or out is by boat. You stay in a cabin that is nice but has no air conditioning, does have a ceiling fan and windows are screens. You can easily find wildlife anywhere you walk on your way to the restaurant or to the turtle shaped pool. Delicious meals are served buffet style by very attentive and polite staff. If you are squeamish about spiders or lizards, you will probably not enjoy this place because they are abundant. But also abundant are 3 species of monkeys and some sloths and iguanas just to name a few. The howler monkeys will let you know when they are awake. If you get a chance to do the sea turtle tour, do it, it’s amazing.

Pasamos tres días y dos noches en lo que fue una magnífica estancia en este lugar tan excelente, rodeado de naturaleza y con su fauna incluida. Personal atento y amable (sobretodo en el restaurante ya que mi pareja es vegana) que acaban de completar lo que este mágico lugar aporta.

This place is not everyone’s cup of tea but it certainly was ours no frills at this place but we felt we were in the rainforest very organic down-to-earth friendly people great room no air-conditioning no glass windows but just a mesh felt like a local. Good food, good breakfast good towels, good bedding good sleepwell looked after gardens plenty of animals. Good breakfast would definitely return would strongly recommend it to friends felt like the outback/jungle at its best. Very noisy at night because of the animals. Very natural brilliant place if you’re into that that thing.

We verbleven hier twee nachten, unieke ervaring in het midden van het natuurpark. De boottrip van 1,5h is al een uitstap op zich! Basic kamers maar alles netjes en functioneel, vriendelijk personeel. Van hier zijn uitstapjes naar Tortuguero, boottocht en geleide wandelimgen prima te regelen.

Hotel en medio de la naturaleza Habitaciones con mosquiteras y sin cristales. Se oían todo tipo de ruidos animales lo cual lo hacía especial. Limpieza correcta Personal amable Buffet correcto Piscina bonita Lo único “malo” la humedad aunque normal teniendo en cuenta la ubicación

Siamo stati in famiglia in questo lodge vicino a tortughero per due notti. Il lodge è composto da vari immobili in legno immersi nella foresta tropicale. Diversi animali si possono vedere anche direttamente „sulla porta di casa“. Le camere sono semplici, ma confortevoli. Non ci si può spostare autonomamente, ma solo con le barche sui canali. La pensione è completa e i pasti sono serviti a buffet. Consiglio di rimanere almeno due notti perché il viaggio da San José prima in bus e poi in barca per raggiungere Tortughero é molto lungo. Durante la permanenza consiglio vivamente di approfittare dei tour proposti. Passeggiata nella foresta tropicale, passeggiata fino a un piccolo promontorio con vista su tortughero, giro in barca nei canali nei dintorni, gita serale per vedere le tartarughe marine che depongono le uova sulla spiaggia ( solo nella stagione giusta). Tutto il personale é stato sempre molto gentile. Un plauso particolare va alle nostre guide Adrian e Jorge Mario e al guidatore della barca Jon, che ci hanno accompagnati e con molto simpatia, gentilezza e pazienza ci hanno mostrato moltissimi animali che da soli non avremmo mai visto.
