Great location, modern and clean rooms. Internet is not good, other than that everything is great.

Business Trip for nights was nice and comfortable.

Location perfect in the heart of Cologne. Doorlock didn’t work at first. Water boiler was full of bubbles when boiling water. WiFi password wasn’t communicated.

Worth it

The room is amazing, the location is even better. Its iust 2 mins walk from the bus or metro. The receptionist is very welcome and is great that we are able to check in early as well. The room is filled with full facility and very cozy

I'm a Steigenberger fan. And this was my third stay at the Köln hotel. This year, it was clear quality of services and amenities dropped, from the collapse of the computer system right at the start of Gamescom, to long waits to speak with staff. The hotel needs more seasoned hands on deck. Staff is helpful & friendly, but overworked. Not happy with the half glass wall that separates part of the shower from the rest of the bathroom. It's a poor design that leaves the bathroom floor wet. Get a proper sliding door in place or a shower curtain. The bottom of the bathroom door showed clear signs of water damage. Also, don't flag all your green initiatives when you offer non-recyclable metal pods for the Espresso machine. Breakfast was great, parking nearby, love the location and neighborhood. But the hotel felt shabbier and service slide was notable from a year ago.

Perfect location, the rooms are a bit small though. Didn't like that the room's door is practically near the bed.

Great hotel to stay near Koln Cathedral.

The room had a bed right next to the door, which made it quite disrupting in the evening because you could hear the footsteps... however, I saw some other rooms while they were being cleaned, and I think I just got really unlucky with the layout of the room. Another thing was the hotel was located right next to the tram station so it was quite loud as well. Also, there was a huge gap below the bathroom door which I didn't like as it didn't give you much privacy. However, the breakfast was excellent and the receptionist person on my check out day (13th of December, around 11am)was extremely nice.

The hotel is in a great location, not far from Cologne Cathedral and the city's commercial streets. There are Starbucks and McDonald's nearby, as well as a Chongqing noodle restaurant that is very suitable for Chinese stomachs!

Everything you need is there and very clean. A very nice view of Cologne with your coffee.

There are food streets all around, with all kinds of food. Downstairs is the Castle Christmas Market, with a lively atmosphere.

Facilities: Very comfortable bed, clever cloakroom design, and small sofa, spacious and comfortable. Hygiene: Clean Environment: The old city wall is just outside, which is convenient for traveling. There is a rewe 200 meters away, which is convenient for replenishing supplies. Service: Friendly.

A great experience. The transportation is convenient and there is a supermarket nearby. The room is quite large and clean. The front desk staff is friendly. However, sometimes group guests have to wait for check-in. Overall, it is good.
