Stayed here for 2 nights for Fibo, and as much as the room and location were fantastic, I had a harder time than expected.
Firstly, you log in to an app or webpage to unlock the doors. As someone who doesn't speak German, I got stuck outside for a good 20 minutes not knowing how to get in, or which door unlock to press. I must admit, I prefer a hotel with a reception and member of staff to speak to about any issues. This is a very staff-less hotel, which is fine when it works, but when it doesn't can be frustrating.
Secondly, I paid for breakfast on both of my two days at TOR1 next door. I went down, to be turned away by a man who spoke no English saying 'Nein'. Granted, I should have used Google translate to speak with him clearly, but at the same time... Why is it so hard and complicated to find and eat the breakfast I paid for?
The room is superb, it was gorgeous. Clean, tidy and 10/10. The room went almost pitch black at night which was great, and I slept fantastic.
Just a let down regarding breakfast and access. If they made these two things clearer, and simpler especially for overseas visitors like myself, I'd have enjoyed my stay a little more.
Anyway, superb hotel, really enjoyed my stay, just feel like this is important to potential customers to know prior to arrival.
