The hotel room facilities are OK, and the breakfast is also good. The only thing is that the front desk clerk is a bit bad. I asked him to help call a taxi, but he called a super old Mercedes-Benz business car. The driver insisted that I sit in the front seat with him (business cars must have the middle seat for comfort). The driver also didn't speak English and took detours everywhere. He didn't even look at the navigation when I turned on it.

A top-notch hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are well-equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extensive and caters to every need. The value for money is absolutely spot on!

PROS: + The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly! Whenever we had a problem, they found a solution for it. + Location is good, not too far from the city center and the main train station (which is where the Kölner Dom is). + High-quality amenities. The bed + pillows were comfortable, the towels were proper towels, and the hairdryer was an actual made-in-Italy hairdryer. + Decent water pressure and temperature. CONS: - The TV didn't work. When I turned it on, it shut down with a crackle, so we just left it off for the duration of our stay. - There is one central elevator for everything, even cleaning staff, so it might take a while to get to your floor. After checking in, we waited over ten minutes for the elevator to arrive because it stopped for quite a while on every floor. This was especially discouraging after a long journey.

Clean and quiet rooms, helpful and courteous staff, excellent breakfast, convenient courtyard parking. Step outside and immediately next door you’ll find one of the original Roman towers. It’s a short walk to the cathedral and train station, many restaurants and cafés.

Im Großen Ganzen war es ok. Mehr aber auch nicht. Bett sehr klein und steinhart. Flecken auf dem Teppichboden. Eine abgebrochene Schwanenhalslampe am Nachttisch. Kein Kühlschrank. Frühstück nicht wirklich gut. Keine Mikrowelle verfügbar. Brötchen sehr trocken. Toast vollkommen ausgetrocknet, nicht genießbar. Kein Kakao (wurde allerdings auf Nachfrage gebracht). Küche geschlossen? Lediglich Rührei war vorhanden. Sonst nur kalte Wurst und Käseplatten die teilweise leer waren. Das Mobiliar, speziell die Bestuhlung war augenscheinlich sehr abgenutzt. Positiv waren die allgemeine Sauberkeit und das freundliche Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Beim check out wurde nicht einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Schade.
