I stayed at the place next door and had a clear view of this dump outside my window. Looks more like low income housing than public lodging. The photoshopped images on their website are a far cry from reality. As someone with a lot of HoJo nostalgia, I’d be curious to see what it looks like inside, but more from an urban exploration perspective as the place could just as well be abandoned from its looks. If I was desperate, maybe $35-50 a night. Otherwise you’re better off cuddling up with the bums hanging outside.

Booked a delux king size room , got a standard . Okay I'm humble I'm not complaining . The back door of the room leading outside isn't closed securely . Asked to change rooms and to please go upstairs because I'm a pregnant female and I don't feel comfortable basically got told all well check out it you don't like it . Rooms paid for a week in advance , refuses to give refund . Owners are extremely rude, nasty and just horrible people with no morals ... From the moment I got here I've been targeted and stereotyped . These people do not care about how nice & respectfully you've approached every situation with them. They want to bring you out of character so they can kick you out and keep your money . DO NOT RENT FROM CLEARWATER HOTEL UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE!!! I lowered my standards and came here to give it a shot and on the second day I've been screamed at , told to check out & basically f*kc you .

Hotel is not up-to-date. Rooms don't have telephones, refrigerator leaks and the staff is very rude. Transit's live all the way around the building. You're getting panhandle as you go to and from your room

If I could give it no stars I would. Roaches in the room, no dressers for clothes, a dirty floor, and smelled like mold/cigarettes. No chairs in the room but the family below us had about 10+ chairs. Horrible service. Stood there for a week and this was the worse experience I have ever had with a hotel in my life. I traveled for vacation and this ruined the whole trip. I agree with all of the reviews.I wish I could get my money back this was absolutly horrible!

I came to the hotel alone, bad service, bad attitude, cockroaches in the room,the don't change the sheets like 3 day because you need to be in the room otherwise the don't change The reception attitude is bad Like they're doing you a favorAlways with an angry face.so if you want to come over think twice I do not recommend at all!!!!!

Found a deal on ******* for this hotel, which is advertised as being close to Ruth Eckard Hall( a concert venue). It is close and convenient to the hall but I do not recommend staying here. I checked in and went to the room to check things out. It was fairly clean but obviously very worn out. Went to the concert, then decided to back to the hotel and check out because of the conditions. It is not a safe place to stay. This hotel is severely run down, lobby is permanently closed - used as storage. The only interface with any staff is through bullet proof glass. The security entrance door to the building has been disabled, anyone can walk through the entrance to the rooms. The pictures posted by the hotel do not look anything like the current condition. It is NOT a hotel in the true sense of the word, it is a motel that has an indoor entrance to your room. From the people I saw around the property it looks like they are renting rooms out at low weekly rates. If you are looking for a nice clean, safe property this is not the place to stay.

please avoid this place even for free, we where check i in it wal late at night , an indian guy was so rudeee , i stopped in a lobby was so tire teied to sit in a sofa , he said i m gonna call cups on u , he screamed on me, he is just harrassing people, they overcharged us , on a paper was 68$ and total was 80 , i have a proof , , i checked my credit card , he charged us 94$ , i went and start to ask him for refund and for deposit refund , he called cups again , this is not and India , if u women, they treat u as a garbage , he basically scream on me , i m gonna send this to BBB , he cant work with a people, period, also hotel is so so so bad. even for 20$ i wouldnt stay there , its ugly , all window lockdown, lobby locked , terrible, please dnt visit this terrible indian place , smells terrible, no fridge nothing , carpet in a hall maybe 150 years old, homeless people lives there, so just avoid please

Zero Housekeeping I was informed that the rooms are only cleaned after you check out. There's bags of rubbish in the passage way, and they are there for days. There was a group of people lounging by my window which worried me.why were they in front of my window assuming they were guests.
