This hotel has so much charm and character! Every staff person made eye contact and would cheerily say hello. The view of the bay and sunset from our third floor room was stunning. Will definitely come back again.

Had food here recently. Service was terrible. Rang a few days ahead and made a reservation, they did not right it into the book. We asked for bread as we werent having starters. Waiter had to be asked several times to bring it out. I got fish and chips for dinner. I asked for no mushy peas, still got them. Chips were raw ! My friend got the duck and she was so sick after ! Dessert was only fit for a child and also was terrible. Wouldn't recommend, avoid. Staff aren't trained at all for the busiest time of year

Restaurant Review Only. Am afraid this place lets itself down on several fronts. 1 Burger and chips 19 euro. This burger was cremated and took 45 mins to serve. We where the only people eating when we went in. SO wish I had taken a photo. It was a total rip-off tastless, 19 euro for rubbish. Cheapest half cooked Chips. That was it 1 burger and chips nothing else on the plate for 19 Euro. Rip-0ff the tourist is alive and well and living here. My friend complained but they where only kids serving AVOID.

Just back from a four day stay in the excellent Stella Maris. Our room was clean, well decorated and very comfortable and the brand new bathroom was simply superb. The food was really good whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.

Great location just off the beach front in Kilkee. The hotel is lovely, a bit dated, but the services were excellent. We had a small issue with our toilet but the staff got that resolved as quick as they could for a bank holiday Sunday. The staff were excellent, very accommodating. We'd 100% stay here again.

Loved the polished wood as we walked in. Care is clearly taken to keep up appearances. Staff were every friendly and polite from the start. We had arrived dearly but our rom was ready and we checked in. Room was clean and tidy. Good selection of drinks in the bar and the food menu was quite extensive. Located close to a beautiful beach.

As always an all-round exceptional experience! The dining menu offered ample choices for Vegetarians and meat-lovers alike and the service left nothing to be desired. We have enjoyed the hospitality of the Haugh Family for the best part of three decades and every visit confirms that the Stella Maris is one of Irelands true gems. Travel the Wild Atlantic Way and let yourself be welcomed by the warm embrace of this historic and yet contemporary establishment at the same time. Whilst there do yourself a favour and ask for the White Porto and Tonic Longdrink. Delicious
