Blossom Hill Bed and Breakfast

Stayed recently for one night whilst attending a wedding in Ballina. Very nice accommodation. Clean, quiet and a lovely view from the room. Breakfast was superb. Norman and Marie were always attentive in making sure that I enjoyed my stay. Will happily stay again on my next visit to Killaloe/Ballina.

What a splendid peaceful haven just outside the town of Killaloe and flanked by picturesque scenery around . We are a couple in our 70s and as we had travelled a lot that day and we gladly welcomed a superb cosy bed - great hospitality and communication from Norman and Marie and an amazing excellent choice for breakfast as we aren’t into the usual fry up .We hope to return again - next time with our bikes as Blossom Hill ticked all the boxes for us .

The beauty and cleanliness of this magical B&B is matched only, by it's friendly and caring hosts who went above and beyond for my partner and I. The pictures above do not do the place justice... you just need to see it with your own eyes; A very well kept house with a grand and stunning garden. My partner has multiple allergies which means catering can be a nightmare but our hosts were kind enough to go out to the shops and buy 'Free From' foods. We were given a brief history on the local town Killaloe as well as great advice on where to eat/drink/explore etc. No review I write will fully depict the visuals and experience that Blossom Hill and the local town has to offer, so you'll just have to go visit and see for yourself! Amazing *****

The rooms were very comfortable and the food was very good. Norm and Marie were great hosts. Norm went out of his way to give us travel tips. I would recommend staying here if you are in the Killaloe area.

My wife and I had the pleasure of an overnight stay at Blossom Hill. Excellent bed and breakfast. Made very welcome by Norman, whose local knowledge is first class. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to explore the area, but maybe on another visit.

We stayed here for a business trip.We were working until 1.30am arrived back to the b and b then .Myself and my husband were having a sandwich and tea in our room and chatting to each other about our days work etc , then a knock came on our door telling us to keep it down. KEEP IT DOWN??? It was the owner Norman. So we pay for our own room and are not allowed to chat to each other in our own room? I confronted Norman only to be told the guests will complain.No guests where back in their rooms at this time I chatted to a few guests the next morning about this and they couldn't believe this. I stay in b and bs all over the country 3 times per week and I can honestly say this is the most unprofessional ran b and b I have encountered in 20 years. Imagine paying for a room that you cannot even talk in 😡😡 My guess is Norman's room was below us and he wanted to sleep so didn't want to hear a little chit chat 🙃My God imagine if any couple were getting romantic would that also be interrupted to keep it down 😂😂 I dread to think . I wouldn't like to see what happens when any lads or women stay with a few drinks on them and are having a laugh .I also run a business and never write bad reviews as I've been lucky with all the amazing b and bs I've stayed in , but this was just an absolute joke and also interfered with our customer and guests rights.So if you want to book a room and be able to talk this is not the place to be 👍
