I enjoyed the most wonderful lunch today. Light crispy battered fresh cod. Would highly recommend. Lovely service and clean friendly establishment. Hope to go back and try the spa out. But the restaurant worth a visit.

I just held a restorative yoga retreat at the Killaloe Hotel & Spa and honestly it was the most amazing experience in venue period when we arrived the staff was warm friendly and accommodating period every request whether it was about food or questions that we had about entertainment around was answered period it actually made running this international retreat pretty easy. Myself and I repeat participants felt like the rooms were beautiful. They were spacious. We got black forest cake upon arrival in our room and water bottles replenished every day. The food was amazing. A few of my participants are vegetarian and vegan and there were options for them that were quite tasty. As a retreat host, Killaloe Hotel and Spa was affordable but did not sacrifice the essentials period the view was beautiful. The vibes were immaculate. It definitely supported the deep rest and restoration that we came for. If you're looking for an accommodation or a place to host a retreat in Ireland, I highly recommend Killaloe Hotel and Spa.

Not great value for money. It was pretty expencive and it's actually quite dated. There were absolutely no extras for the money -slippers, newspapers, coffee machine etc. While generally clean enough, paintwork, doors etc were all quite grubby, in need of a good scrub. The cooked breakfast was lovely but the only bread available was sliced pan. The orange juice was cheap supermarket carton. For the price I would expect freshly squeezed. I asked for an Americano and was told I'd have to pay 4 euros extra. The supposedly filter coffee was cheap instant and undrinkable. I paid 15 euros extra for 30 minutes in the Spa where neither the steam room or sauna were working. Overall I'd give it no more than 7 out of 10. I suspect there's a management issue.

The hotel’s location is ideal, with a big parking lot for those traveling around by car. The premises are in need of renovation but especially cleaning. It was dusty everywhere. I’m sure it used to be a very nice place 10-20 years ago but it needs a facelift. The staff at breakfast was friendly but a little bit lost. They somehow forgot our order and we had to wait 50 minutes to get subpar food.

We were lucky to have our wedding reception in Killaloe Hotel and Spa. Everything went perfect, starting with the venue, which is absolutely stunning. The food was more like a banquet with so many courses and super tasty. But the main thing was the staff! Shout out to Kathryna, our wedding manager who was always so helpful and really cared for our needs/wishes. Konstantin, the manager, was an absolute legend! Who truly went above and beyond for our guests. From the moment people arrived, he made sure everyone felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Whether it was helping my mum, with mobility issues, finding her a wheelchair and making sure she was comfortable enough, to speaking Portuguese with my guests from Brazil or serving mocktails to our little flower girl. Many of our guests mentioned how well they were taken care of—and we couldn’t agree more. Killaloe hotel and spa is lucky to have such a brilliant staff, and so are we to have this amazing help on our big day! We don’t plan to get married again, but we would definitely consider Killaloe hotel and spa for any other event. We truly can’t recommend enough!!!

Stayed at the killaloe Hotel and Spa in July,very nice hotel with good food,service and friendly staff,the room was very comfortable with the best mattress and pillows iv ever slept on,very well located Hotel the only thing I did find unusual was we had to pay 15 euros each to use the thermal spa even as quests staying there which is normally complementary, but otherwise very nice Hotel,

I recently stayed at Killaloe Hotel with my husband, son and his family. The staff were welcoming and relaxed. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The food was especially good resulting in us eating there all nights of our stay. I really enjoyed the spa and had a very good Swedish massage from Priscilla, would love to have that every month….and of course Killaloe and neighbouring Ballina are lovely towns to stroll around. Overall, an excellent few days away.
