Parkhouse Bed and Breakfast

I booked a one night stay for 8 members of my family as we were doing a few nights in different places around Ireland. We had stayed in hotels on the trip which were incomparable to the warm welcome and service we received from both Sinéad and Shane here in Parkhouse B&B. Nothing was a problem, they were both available for anything we needed whether that was extra shampoo or a good chat! After providing us with plenty of advice on what we could do around Bunratty for the evening, Sinéad so kindly insisted on driving us down to the restaurant for dinner to save us organising a taxi. They also encouraged us to make use of the couches in the dining area that evening which allowed us to play a boardgame together which was lovely! The breakfast was fabulous. great variety and plenty of it available. Shane's brown bread is the best I've had - it would take trophies home in master chef!! Right up until we left the next morning, myself and my 7 family members agreed that the service was 10/10, I would highly recommend and I would certainly stay here again.

Although we only stayed one night we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parkhouse B&B. Sinead & Shane proved wonderfully warm and inviting hosts (ably assisted by their son & nephew). The house is lovely and our room was comfortable and spacious. Although we can only imagine the panic that must have been caused by a widespread short lived power cut that was suffered early in the morning, you wouldn’t have known it by the delicious breakfast that was served and Sinead’s sunny disposition. Thank you for looking after us so well.
