I recently visited and had a mixed experience. While the service from two of the waiters was excellent, they were attentive, friendly, and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome but one particular waitress left much to be desired. This waitress, who had red hair and a Dublin accent, unfortunately, got our order completely wrong. When we kindly pointed out the mistake, she was not only unapologetic but also placed the blame on us. She refused to correct the order to what we had originally requested and was, frankly, quite rude throughout the interaction. She basically shoved the burger that we had not ordered into our faces which we did not even want in the first place and said to eat it. Despite this negative experience, the other two waiters were fantastic and deserve recognition for their great service. Hopefully, this can be addressed to ensure all customers have a positive experience. Very disappointed as the food and the other staff were lovely.

My friends and I recently visited the Island and we were recommended to pay a visit to the hotel but the only advise I could give people is to avoid the place. We found the food to be stale, reheated and covered in hairs. The staff were extremely rude and very unhelpful, the workers also never tried putting a stop to costumers who were rudely taking food off people and interrupting conversations. I don’t know how anyone could spend the night in the hotel.

We had a fabulous stay here. The room and the breakfast were perfect. We took the dogs too who were made so welcome. Was a glorious mini break whike catching up with my fabulous friend. Room 11 had a double bed, huge and a single plus a sofa and fabulous views.

This hotel gets too busy, and at times the staff are pressurised, and can also be quite rude and impersonal.... all it seems to want to do is sell food , food and more food.....which to be honest isn't of a great standard , especially in terms of the price it charges .. AVIOD the sea food chowder at all costs.. Sorry, this place is not for me, and like the rest of the island, you know it's all money driven, get the tourist in, and then out as quick as you can, and get as much money of them in the process.. It's like the Butlins of the Aran Islands.. At least on Inis Mór you have more choice, which is limited on Inis Oirr... and to be honest, they don't seem to really care what you think... If it's an authentic Island experience you are seeking, I suggest Inis Meáin, leave Inis Oirr to it's money grabbing self...

I usually have lunch here on my Inis Oírr visit, this time the fish & chips were one of the best I have ever had. Decent selection of other hot dishes available too. Always a warm welcome, and a cosy bar. The bar is easily found when arriving by boat, the pier is a three minute walk.

Flanery's Bar is cozy, friendly and yummy. The pan-fried chicken a top mashed potatoes with gravy with vegetables is quite filling. The vegetable soup is nice as well. There was a variety of items for diners with various requirements including gluten-free.

Where do I start! Myself and my husband got married on 20th Sept on the most amazing island. It was the best weekend of our lives. This of course wouldn’t of been possible if it wasn’t for the fabulous Toma who made sure our day was perfect (and it really was magical) Tom, Toma, Daithi, Aoife, Cat, Robbie, Sabina, Gerry, Mr Shay! I can’t thank you all enough. Ye are all so amazing. X
