Dawn, is the best!! She followed up on my many questions while I coordinated rooms for seven high school kids and two coaches. Not only did she provide great service but gave us a great rate on top of that. Our kids raised money and worked hard so I appreciate her making sure we had the best deal. I felt confident during the process and when we got the rooms they were clean, comfortable and quiet. I arrived to meet Dawn for the first time her smile and assurance made me feel like I was part of something special. Her assistant checked us in with a smile and light hearted humor as she recommended venues/restaurants and directions. The sleep was perfect as my bed was soft, pillows were perfect and space was abundant. I went for a walk to find all the outlet stores across the street, and many good restaurants. The difference was the staff, always cheerful, always made time to answer questions. Dawn leads by example, I can see and feel that she empowers her people to have confidence that taking care of the customer is the ultimate goal. Thank you Dawn and crew. You rock!!! J Villa
After losing my wife. I needed to come to Folsom to visit son. Several years ago my wife and i stayed here. I remember the awesome experience then. And happy to say that lake nataoma. Is still awesome. Everyone from Ashley Osborne At the front desk. To the most wonderful Yatziri in the restaurant. I felt as though they went above and beyond. With greeting me and made my time of sadness. A bright spot of my stay. Thank you to the housekeeping staff and maintenance staff. I hope to return to Folsom soon and would love to be back at lake nataoma.

There are freeways, gas stations, and Costco nearby, as well as many restaurants and supermarkets.
There are plenty of parking spaces and no extra parking fees, but the breakfast and TV hardware are average.

Departing from Los Angeles, I took the old man to Lake Tahoe, taking into account the trip, not too tired, staying here for one night. The hotel is all on the way, the environment is very good, the bed is large, you can stay for four people. There are restaurants in a few minutes. The most important thing is that it is only the costco across the road. The food, vegetables and fruits that are in the Lake Tahoe on the second day can be purchased. I don’t know how to make a big watermelon from LA. .
The wife & I opted to stay at this establishment as it is at a mid-way point between our family and friends that we came to visit. We had been assigned a lower floor room but had requested a top floor room when we booked the place. The gentleman that checked us in did make the change for us, for which we were thankful. What we didn't expect was the volume of noise. Yes, its next to the 50 Freeway, however the morning gas powered leaf blowers were beyond annoying! (And, Yes, they were run every morning!) When we travel, I always take along our laptop to check emails and things to do, however at every other place we've stayed, there has been a business center where I could log on to print whatever I needed (maps, coupons, etc.). This place did not have one. When I asked if there was one, I was told that I could email the lobby's staff computer and they could print out whatever I needed. That didn't appear professional or something I'd want to do! The breakfast was okay (no cheese for the eggs) and the staff person did try to keep everything stocked. It would have been nice to have the bacon in clear view instead of buried under the crumbled hash browns. Although the room was clean, they didn't bother to put in any extra towels, nor did they have the extra pillows we requested. No doubt, we'll find a different place to stay next time! Good luck!
Lucky to have found vacancy during labor day weekend. Only gripe was during initial check in, we arrived by 1pm and was told none of the rooms were available yet. They told us to come back in an hour. We were beginning to worry whether or not we needed to cancel our online reservation. Thankfully after couple hours, rooms were ready.
Right when we walked into our room, we could smell strong alcohol odor which means room was thoroughly disinfected. There were clean signs everywhere. Our double queen room had fridge and microwave, central AC and it cools the room very good despite being 108F outside today. Sheets were clean, bathroom clean. Room so far is quiet, can't tell when people return to their rooms during the night though.
Edit: towards late night around 10pm, can hear guests coming back home/checking in. Can hear footsteps of large person above. Can also hear faint shower faucet noise. Noises went away by midnight. Simple breakfast items available in lobby 6am-10am
