Very Good
SStales70Beds were comfy and staff was nice. The room itself … the corners were dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty. You could literally see the mop marks and the aftermath was streaky dirt. Our socks were actually turning black that we walked around in our flip flops :-/ I wiped part of the floor from water spilling and the tissue was seriously black. I’m happy that we only stayed one night because otherwise I would have asked for a different room that was properly cleaned. Pool was super chilly (75-77 degrees per the pool water thermostat) … my 5 year old actually didn’t want to stay too long which is crazy unusual for her. Whirlpool was toasty and the bubbles worked. Breakfast was cold cereals, packets of oatmeal, cinnamon rolls and then 3 hot breakfast items (eggs, sausage and sausage gravy). My husband has business in Fort Wayne regularly. We’ve been to worse hotels in the area surely but this wasn’t our keeper and we will continue to look for a better option for future visits.
GGuest UserThe hotel appeared to be in need of upkeep both in and outside. The outside landscaping needed ****ing. Also, we noticed that the flag pole did not display any flags. Normally a state flag and the US flag should be on a flag pole. Especially on Independence Day!
The glass in the window of our room (230) has a crack in it. The handle of the dresser drawer was off. There was mold in the bathroom around the floor base boards and tiles. I am having allergy problems since staying in that room!
On the up side, the desk clerk and food attendant were pleasant.
GGuest UserThe location was great with restraunts nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was far better than expected. The room was clean and comfortable. The complaints were few. There was a high pitched ringing noise from the vent in the bathroom. It was random and not present long enough to be able to report to staff. The hallway smelled strongly of ********* at intermittent times during our overnight stay. We would stay again despite the slight issues.
GGuest UserWe used Rewards points for a King room and were very surprised to see a suite with a deep jacuzzi tub and a shared courtyard. Very comfy place to spend a night on the road to Michigan. The only problem encountered was the single elevator smelled strongly of smoking hydraulics. I hope the Otis guy shows up soon. We skipped breakfast so I can't speak to quality, but it looked nicely laid out as we left.
GGuest UserGreat hotel with a “parking” fee added to your room fee - that’s okay in that it is only a small charge and I knew ahead of time as they clearly state that up front - but why not just raise the room rate to match others in the area? Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Would stay again.
EExperience709238Stayed for 3 nights for a reasonable price. Nice room with a kitchenette & full size fridge. Pots, dishes & coffee maker available from front desk, upon request. Smallish bathroom but was clean with sufficient towels. Nicer bed linens & comfortable bed/pillows. The coin op laundry was clean & everything worked well. No breakfast due to Covid19 but coffee & breakfast muffins/granola bars to go from front desk. Parking lot & grounds were clean & safe. Overall, a pleasant stay & good value. I would stay here again.
GGuest UserThey put a $100 hold on your account in addition to your room charge. I went to my room and was disgusted at what I found. The toilet wasn’t even flushed from the last person who had been there! Smears on the wall under the toilet paper, dirty sheets and pillow, and dirty carpet. Despite driving all day, I told the manager I didn’t want to stay there because of the conditions. He said I needed to leave immediately, so I got my things and went to get my receipt. He threw a fit about me wanting a copy of my receipt, and he threw it at me and said “now get out. And if the room is messed up, we’re charging you a cleaning fee.” I asked him, why would he charge me a cleaning fee? I’d been there 20 minutes and all I’d done is inspect the bedding and the room. He said, “you can’t just come in, mess everything up, and leave.” Well, he charges all these cleaning fees, and the housekeepers don’t even clean the rooms properly. Needless to say, I’m disputing this with my bank. The fitness center is shut down, hallway bathroom is shut down, they are not serving breakfast, and no daily housekeeping. There were even bugs on the check in counter. Stay far away from here! It’s not worth it to stay here, especially when it’s dirty and you don’t even get breakfast. You’re way better off staying somewhere else and not risk getting charged a cleaning fee for nothing.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel for the price, clean, good customer service, convenient and safe .. definitely i'll be using it again and a gain I stayed in some budget hotels in the area and this one is the best by far
GGuest UserThey offer no amenities, I’ve been to the office daily after work to get new key cards because they only work for a few hours and then quit. There are used syringes laying through the parking lot, one of my employees is sleeping on the floor because there is no pullout sofa like the site states and they would not give a refund because I booked through my Wyndham app, I’ve called Wyndham and gave them feedback but got a Im sorry for your inconvenience pitch and that was it. They refuse to give us another room. The cleaning person is a guy running around with cleaning supplies and a vacuum wearing his pants below his ass and no shirt on looking like a 309(inmate) in a county jail. My neighbors are fighting as she is throwing his belongings over the rail as I am writing this review. This is not a hotel, more like a slumlord apartment complex. They have not cleaned our rooms once, the god awful smell coming from the dishwasher keeps me up at night on top of guy riding there motorcycle through the courtyard and around the gazebo at night revving his engine, the people that are staying or should I say live here are loud as crap and don’t give a rats ass about anybody else. Pretty sure there is an underage ********** or druggie going in and out of the same four rooms several times a day. There is so much more that I can keep writing so im just gonna say please read reviews…. They are there for a reason… I just want my money back.
