GGuest UserMe and my girlfriend booked a room for 6 days. She chose this resort because it was not far from her residence and across the street from Kamay ni Hesus. What do you expect during a pandemic? When we entered the room, it was not maintained, clean or even prepared for guests. However, there was a welcome card on a table with me and my girlfriend's name written on it. This told me that staff had entered the room prior to our arrival. The refrigerator was not plugged in, the TV was not working properly; had to unplug it and plug it back in the electrical outlet to turn it on, the room was dusty, dirty, had fly wings on the furniture and reeked an odor of YUCK! Now when I complained, the staff was very attentive and sent a cleaning crew there ASAP but this should have been done prior to any guest arrival. So me and the misses took a tour of the resort and it was run-downed. It was not kept up to par as a resort should be in my opinion. The best part of the resort was the pool/bar area. There were many people coming and going; I guest for a quick getaway. I wont mention zip-lining and/kayaking, ahem. It rained for two days, therefore, we couldnt swim and afterwards, staff drained the pools. So me and the misses found a small recreation area that had billiards and a ping pong table and made the best of it. The next day we returned to play billiards and the balls, and pool sticks were gone. What a way to treat the guests, who could not use the pool. I didnt even complain to staff, I was so happy to be in the company of my girlfriend and spend quality time with her. Now, were both scratching from rashes on our skin. WTF!!! OH by the way, the resort had a safe and telephone in the room that did not work.
YyassymagsWe stayed for a night before going to Cagbalete Island. The port to the island is around half kilometer from the hotel.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor. If you wanted outside food, there are convenience stores and eateries around.
Best things are the free WiFi, hot shower, and free breakfast.
The staff are really nice and the food is good. :)
They already have food service. That can cater to travellers on the go. Menu prices are reasonable. It is by the highway so it is easy to find. Secure parking also with bright lights. Beach are is still under construction but beach is nice depends on the season. Best hotel in atimonan for the price range. Maintained rooms, friendly staff, and you can book online as well. No frills just the essentials.
FFULGENCIO OBADOThe hotel is very clean it’s in the hearth of lucena city, bed is firm and pillow the bed sheet is just thin not enough to keep you warm, the staff are very helpful and polite, AC is working good with hot water in the shower. They also provide toothbrush. The only problem is they don’t have elevator for the senior or person with disability, but for those bag packer and able to climb the 3 plight or stairs up to the 3rd floor this is perfect for you.
WWithmyAusomeKidYou can actually pay for 12hrs stay only but there's no option here and we end up paying full amount but stayed less than 12hrs. The owner was nice and accommodating. It's great for short staying guests. They have a big rooms also for big families.
FFULGENCIO OBADOThis hotel part of the NOVOTEL chain I believe asI always booked with them any chance When I travel although some hotel location seems not properly maintained, although this location in Lucena is a great deal, they have elevator service, the room is cleaned and wide big bed firm and pillows firm comfortable, had a table lamp ac is split type so it’s quiet and working, enough size bathroom, wide hallway, My only dislike is that they don’t provide water and hot water or kettle for a coffee, they have a water dispenser in the ground floor of which charge 10 pesos per refill and 10 pesos if you ask a hot water to deliver to your room although you can get a free hot water in dispenser had to bring your own mug or cup. The staff are very strick on policy regarding the time check in and check out if you want to ask for a extension 200 pesos per hour. Other than that I cannot complain the comfortable they bring. Very quiete during the night.
GGuest UserThe W O R S T E V E R. This hotel was filthy. The entire place is in disrepair. The walls were filthy, the floors Washington, there was no shower curtain, the water took 15 minutes to get hot and we could not survive more than one night. We were happy to run away from this hotel and find a real hotel up the road. When we asked for our money back they offered us an upgrade. Upgrade from horrible is still horrible… Keep the money, no thanks. Do you have other options in the areas such as hotel Rosita which is clean and roughly the same amount of money. You don’t have to stay in this type of Turkish prison surrounding. The front staff was rude and arrogant and dismissive. I am happy never ever to go back to this hotel. I would suggest to anyone that wants to have a good night rest not to go to this disgusting, horrible place.
AattynWe stayed at the hotel from August 24 to 27, 2019. With the exception of one receptionist, all hotel staff terribly need to learn about customer service. 1st night, we stayed at Room 401. It was old and needs few renovation and cleaning. Our 2nd and 3rd night was at Room 301. The good receptionist informed us that it is a very good room because it is newly renovated. First two days’ buffet breakfast was plain. I even saw a small cockroach inside the pineapple juice pitcher. Third day breakfast is ala carte. All restaurant staff NEEEDS TO BE TAUGHT WHAT AT LEAST GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE MEAN. Reason being, they do not pause to talk with me to answer about my inquiry about the juice. There was loud music playing that gave an ambiance of a cheap hotel. I know for a fact that this is not a four or five star rated hotel. But still, all staff must act like they are working in a hotel and not just regular fastfood place.
Vvict209130Our family spent a night at 2205 Suites when we were heading from Tobaco City to Villa Escudero. We checked in very late at 11 PM at night and the check in process included picking one of the three rice dishes for breakfast. They also offer welcome drink like a 5-star hotel but the options are limited to black tea and coffee. It is my recommendation for the hotel to cut this offer because it really does not match the segment of this hotel and offers no additional value to the customer. Leaving some tea bags and coffee in the hotel room would be sufficient. The room is spacious with pretty new kitchen with appliance. The bathroom is also structured nicely; the standing shower is separated from the toilet and water from shower won't spill to the toilet area. The only complaint is that the water is lurk warm (or cold in my standard). Given that it was almost mid-night, I didn't bother to call the front desk. Just took a quick shower and slept for the night. Our room faced an open field and I truly enjoyed the view of looking at the river, coconut trees, and the playing cows. It is a hotel in a countryside and that is what I want.
