1. The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful, and all the problems raised are solved attentively. Although the hotel is a little far from the airport, hotel pick-up and drop-off is very convenient. The surrounding area near the Arc de Triomphe is full of Southeast Asian style. The overall environment is warm and quiet, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Will choose next time.

Myself and my Son 11 years have been staying with Ken & Fon 1 month now and feel like part of the family. Have also met some great new friends staying here on Memory's lock-down special offer which is the best value in Central Vientiane only 100 meters to Mekong river and all attractions including shopping, restaurants + the amazing night market and fair which is very child friendly and fun for adults also. Nice breakfast juice + eggs any style. Travel Agency and Motorbike rentals. Walk in rate $15. Read more

Moved from continental plaza to Ji hotel for our last night in Vientiane. The hotel is especially for Chinese tourist⊠itâs good and not good⊠based in old Chinatown, the hotel is on the 6st floor of a building. Inside itâs very nice, quite new, and service was nice. Then come the morning and the included breakfast⊠only Chinese food combination⊠not really choices⊠no coffee, no orange juice or else, only a cup of milk⊠some porridges and Chinese rice rolls or buns and eggs, these kind of combination⊠not attractive at all⊠to eat the breakfast you have to go to 1st floor and walk outside to a partnered restaurant who will serve you a choice of 5 Chinese combinations food. Workers of the hotel are nice but donât speak English only Chinese⊠have a rooftop swimming pool and a gym but exposed to sunshine so it was too hot to swim or to gym đ€.

I stayed here for 4N. Was very happy with my time here. The hotel is in great condition, my room was nice. There is a gym which has basic cardio equipment and weights (which is enough for me to get a good workout!). Great location in the center of Vientiane. Breakfast was fair - appropriate level of selection for the hotel size. Reccomended!
The hotel room is big and clean it is comfortable, with big swimming pools đ especially I love the welcoming fruit itâs nice and fresh, the hotel breakfast is very good, and the staff is very nice and friendly,
The hotel's internet is very fast.
This hotel is in a great location, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and excellent service. Well worth the price for the absolutely clean room and atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.
Chandara was a wonderful experience for my parents and I. Itâs a little bit older but has charming architecture and lovely common areas. The pool is wonderful and the staff was as smiling and willing to help us with anything we needed. Not too far from the riverside and with bicycles available for rent, I highly recommend staying here.
Itâs quite an acceptable hotel. About 20 minute drive from the international airport. Pros: - Price is reasonable - 10 minutes walk to the embassy (great for visa runs) - I had to photocopy some documents and they did it for me at the lobby for free - Convenient stores and restaurants were accessible - Staff were good. They werent rude and when I tried to pay for an extra half day they tried their best to stay patient with me even though I was struggling to communicate with them due to currency exchange rates & language barriers - The rooms were decent. It seemed old but still good - Breakfast buffet was good. Had a selection of asian foods, Korean side dishes, tea, coffee, cereal, etc. Cons: - Housekeeping just comes in the room without even knocking.. which is invasion of privacy (and was really annoying). We tried to tell them to come back some other time but they didnât get it. Neither was there any signage to put in our front door to tell housekeeping that we want to makeup our room or âdo not disturb.â - Toilet wasnât entirely dry when I first checked in. It was wet like someone just finished cleaning - Upon entering the room it was pretty clear they just didnât bother to clean everything. You could see some dirt in the minibar and some webs on top walls. I do have some suggestion to improve the service. At least put the list of mini bar prices. I didnât know until check-out. I didnât even know what number to call the room service until I randomly dialed â0â and magically went to the reception. Btw room service number is 202 and either no one picks up or when they do, they donât understand english. Not recommended for leisure. Just a decent hotel for visa runs.

CClimber29928988907First visit to Laos, and I'm certain they are among the friendliest people in the world. Located not far from the airport and city center the hotel was clean and modern but the best part of my stay was the staff...especially Deth and Julie! Deth and Julie were so kind and accommodating and were so well versed in English. I felt very safe and taken care of because of Deth and Julie's hospitality! Thank you so kindly for a wonderful stay, and I hope to see you guys again in the near future!
GGuest UserI arrived Vientiane by train. There were two buses picking up passengers opposite the front of the station. One was a minibus going to the night market (30k kips) and the other was a public bus going to Vientiane Central Bus Station (25k kips). The minbus going to the night market was full so I took the one going to the Central Bus Station. On checking Google maps, the one going to the night market is the correct transportation to take.
It was close to 9pm when I arrived at the bus station. Note that the reception closes at 10pm. I took a tuk tuk at 50k kips (bargained from 100 kips). The fare was 30k kips when I took a car from the hostel back to the Bus Station to catch Bus 12 to Vientiane (Khamsavath) train station. Do note that this is a different train station from the station I'd arrived from. That station is used by the Laos-China train, while Khamsavath station is used by the Laos-Thai train.
The above described the location of the hostel in relation to the train stations and Central Bus Station.
As for the 3rd floor room (was it 2nd?? well, it was at the highest floor) that I was assigned, there is space enough for 6 beds (3 double deckers). My beddings were spotlessly clean. The aircon worked perfectly. The staff who had checked me in helped with my luggage, which was much appreciated. He pointed out to me the facilities too.
The bathroom cubicles and toilets are on the ground floor. They are clean. The bathroom cubicle i had used were without showergel/soap or shampoo. I did not check the other cubicles.
The common area is behind the reception on the groundfloor. It is air-conditioned and has comfortable seats. There is a water dispenser which dispenses cold water. Again, much appreciated.
In a folder on a desk opposite the reception desk contains information on transportation, fares and public bus schedules. Most useful!
The owner (i assumed he is) had kindly helped me call a car to the central station. He went out in the heat to look out for the car and bode me farewell. It is personal touches like this that warms the heart.
Yes, it is a hostel I would recommend. The 2 attached pictures were information displayed on the walls of the common area which i found useful.
GGuest UserHotel staff and owner are friendly especially the staff even though they have difficulties to communicate they try to make you feel comfortable. Help to carry your luggage upstairs. Location near the Food Market and Night Market. Walking distance 12 minutes to near Talat Mall which sell alot of merchandise worth the visit. Food Market have varieties of food but hardly places to sit and eat. The night market does not have food stall those want to visit make sure fill up the tummy.

Very Good
WWorld travelersWe stayed here many times, and itâs great per usual our past stays. The location is excellent as itâs close to all of the major spots for everything âtouristyâ. I was a little disappointed on the breakfast food selection this time around, but a very small complaint; regardless, the place is great. We will definitely stay again.
GGuest UserItâs a great bang for your buck this hotel is! Communication is a breeze, and the free airport pickup and transfer to the railway station are just fantastic perks. I messaged them for a pickup as I landed super early, around 7:30 am, and guess what? The driver was already there waiting for me. Talk about service!
The room was spotless and really cozyâI slept like a baby during my stay. Since the hotel is pretty new, theyâre still getting things up and running. For example, the free breakfast ran out quickly because of a big tour group. But no worries, Manager Chan was on it! He quickly whipped up some dumplings for the individual guests like me. How awesome is that?
The front desk staff might struggle a bit with English or Chinese, but theyâre super eager to help. Google Translate can be a lifesaver here. The driver, on the other hand, speaks fluent Chinese. He even offered his WeChat, so you can chat with him in Mandarin easily.
One of my favorite spots was the lobby. Manager Chen often makes tea for himself and invites guests to join in. Heâs so friendly and generous with his time. I learned so much about Laos and its culture just by chatting with him.
The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the city center and since itâs new, Google Maps isnât quite up to date. This can make it a bit tricky for ride-hailing apps to find the place.
A few little extras like a hair dryer, a city map, and some tour information would be great additions for travelers. But overall, itâs a wonderful place to stay!

KKirillA sort of Chinese sharashka for one unpretentious overnight stay. Keep in mind that the room is not small, it is tiny. But as compensation you will get a gorgeous view from the window onto the wall of the neighboring building.
GGuest UserVery accommodating front desk staff. Amenities you won't find it better than Vientiane Luxury Hotel are: The Gym, the pool, and the room cleanliness. It could use a little improvement on the elevator video display. It would be nice if the music from the display is more traditional like Lao bamboo flute or traditional music. Also show case the gym and pool more. 9.2 out of 10.

DDamien DI stayed at the Aaron hotel twice in December 2019. What I like about this hotel: spacious room, huge bathroom, many toiletries, a lot of cabinets and drawers to store clothes, the Mekong river view, the fitness center. Everytime the staff helped us to park in front of the hotel as our car is to low to go down the parking lot. I stayed at many hotels in Vientiane and there is no hotel with such amenities at this price. The staff has been always friendly to me I cannot comment on their English as I converse with them in Lao. People complained about the breakfast but I stayed at Best Western Hotel next door and the breakfast was similar even if the room is twice the price of Aaron Hotel.

GGuest UserCheck in date : 25th August 2022. Check out date : 26th August 2022. Location : The hotel is conveniently located right at the heart of Vientiane. It is within walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane and there are nice restaurants around. The junction at the end of the road has a convenience store. We booked LOCA car from the airport and it just costs 100,000 LAK. The area is not too busy but it is just near to the main the main road. Within walking distance, tourists can walk to Sisaket and Night Market. But we opt out for the motorcycle. Reception : The recep area is small but nicely decorated with wooden furniture. We arrived around 8am and the well spoken English receptionist welcomed us warmly. She also direct us to the luggage area and we got to keep our luggage before check in time. Before I depart from my home country, I texted the owner about motorcycle rental. The owner kindly replied me and arranged for us the motorcycle rental that only costs 50,000 LAK per day (which is super cheap). When we arrived, the motorcycle was ready. All in all, I felt welcome in the hotel. Room : My room is in the second floor. It has an amazing courtyard view. The room is spacious, the bathroom is big and clean. The AC works very well. The bed are large and comfy. An electric kettle was provided and 2 mineral waters are there for us. The towels are fresh and the wardrobe is big enough for us to store our rucksacks. Around the hotel : It is a very small but well run hotel. The hotel is clean and spotless. The courtyard is very amazing and the resting area gives a very tranquil vibe. There is a limited space motorcycle parking rental. The hotel also seems very quiet and looks like a very good resting/working place. There are no elevator around so disable people had to reconsider booking here or you can opt for ground floor room right in front of the courtyard. We checked out around 6am the next day so we didnt get to try the breakfast. Satisfaction : We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists.
