Great food, wine and best of all the hospitality of the owner. It takes about 5-10 minutes on foot from the hotel to the slopes. It was the perfect location for skiing. We stayed for 3 nights, so we had breakfast and dinner 3 times, but each time it was a different menu. Dinner is a 3-course menu (appetizer + pasta + main). All were really delicious. Homemade bread is freshly baked for breakfast and is the best. Both the owner and his son (who is the main chef) have the best hospitality, and I felt that they were taken care of by the customers. It was my first stay, but I would like to become a repeater. My wife and 10-year-old son who accompanied me were also delighted. (Other 1) I stayed at the Shinkan Tower from January 4 to 7, 2023. The new building tower has an open-air bath, and I enjoyed coffee in the lounge. (Other 2) There are plenty of ski rentals, and I rented them at the same price as other rental shops in the area. (Other 3) I received a lift ticket for Naeba Ski Resort at a discounted price.

The large public bath is open 24 hours a day, the building is very warm, and the restrooms are kept clean, so I was able to stay comfortably. There is also a washing machine and dryer, so I think it is suitable for long-term stays. I took the Shinkansen, and they provided transportation from the station and from the lodge to the ski resort, which was very helpful. I thought the room was equipped with everything I could wish for! There were towels, a hair dryer, a three-way mirror, and I was impressed by the abundance of amenities. The best thing about K Lodge was how friendly the people who worked there were. Not only were they polite, but they also became so friendly that they even recommended a delicious restaurant to me. I felt that this lodge was of a fairly high standard among lodges near the ski resort. I think it's a place I would like to stay here again!
The whole is very good, there is also a bathhouse in the basement, you can save the money to buy a bathhouse coupon.
Compared with other nearby ski resorts, there are still many shops nearby. If you really forget to buy, there are also several instant noodles that can be sold as a night.
The only drawback is that there is no wifi.
I sincerely recommend this accommodation owner to speak Chinese, the attitude is very kind, no matter what the boss is helping, the boss is sincerely assisting, it is a warmth from the heart, I highly recommend the hotel accommodation facilities and Although the equipment for bathing is relatively general, it can be felt that the boss's management intentions The overall accommodation quality is very extra and there is a simple sense of happiness!
High cost performance. This time I accidentally hit this hotel. Thank you very much for Ctrip.
Before going to Japan, I wanted to find a place where you can ski and hot springs for 2 nights, but whether it is Zao in Yamagata, Asahi in Otaru, or Echigo Yuzawa, the prices are very high, so I have to give up. I bought a 3-day ticket in Ueno and boarded the Shinkansen on the way to Karuizawa. When I was bored, I brushed Ctrip, and suddenly I got a room at Toei Hotel in Yuzawa-cho, and immediately locked it. Get off at Takasaki and change Multiply by. Worthy of a trip.
As written by Kawabata Yasunari's ”Snow Country”: A long tunnel that crosses the border of the country comes to the Snow Country. The south of the tunnel is still clear and sunny. After the train passes through the tunnel, there is continuous heavy snow. Different from northern China, the temperature is not that low, with the lowest temperature at minus four or five degrees and the highest temperature at minus four or five degrees. The sky is covered with powder snow, which is the guarantee of the ski resort. Echigo Yuzawa stood out, you can book the hotel shuttle bus, even if walking, it only takes 10 minutes. There is a primary road under the hotel window. Take the hotel elevator down to B1, which is the ski rental counter and the dressing room. You can hang the room account. You can also take the cable car up the mountain on the top of the primary road, and go up to 900 meters above sea level. There are all the routes of the primary road and the intermediate road.
Tired of slipping, the hotel's hot spring has internal soup and external soup, this stay again experienced the open-air hot spring in the snow. Very cozy.
The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, a little uphill, pushing a large suitcase is acceptable, not too strenuous. January just after the Japanese long holiday stay, one night two meals more than HK$800 value, every day on time staff delivered to the room, very rich dishes, a total of 4 nights, every day the menu is different, hotel The staff of the and restaurant were very polite, the first day at 9 pm arrived at the hotel, thinking so late, will not leave food and ready to go out to find something to eat, very suddenly someone knocked on the door, opened the door to see a large pot Japanese food is in front of you. It's too cold outside. Japanese tatami, great view outside the window, will definitely come again next time I come skiing.

GGuest UserThere is a 24-hour convenience store near the station, and the location is great. However, be careful as the parking lot is small. The lobby is small and there is a chair fight. I checked in from 14:00 (it is possible if I pay an additional fee), but it was still a little crowded and there was a chair fight. Check-in was given priority, so the check-in time was about 5 minutes. If you don't like the small rooms, you shouldn't come. (The Japanese suite is relatively large because it has two bedrooms) The view is not good. There is air conditioner, but it is fixed to 24 ℃ in winter and is hot. The food was delicious and there were so many, but it was good (however, the breakfast the next day I ate soba at night was hell) However, from 15:00, it is difficult to make a reservation for meals from 17:30. Because it is difficult, Check in from 14:00 will be easier to take. The hot spring was the best. There are three private baths, but the place called ”Iwanoyu” is crowded, and depending on luck on the day you check in (relatively vacant during dinner) ”Iwanoyu” is vacant early in the morning of the next day (around 4:00 to 6:00). In addition, there are ice candy (free) (evening and night) and Yakult (free) (early morning to morning) at the bathing area, and you can eat ”night soba” for free from 23:00. The service was substantial. The room had a coffee mill and coffee beans and I was able to enjoy authentic coffee. The customer service was also good. It happened to be good, but the people in the lobby and the people in the restaurant were good with a clear voice. (There seems to be no other customer service)
GGuest UserI went to go to the Gala Yuzawa ski resort next door. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus, just call them, and they drop off or pick up, including other nearby areas. Nice breakfast in a stunning Japanese style room, western style available. There is a wonderful natural thermal hot springs in the hotel, free of charge. Great after a day of skiing. The room was very spacious, traditional Japanese style, everything worked great. The staff were all very friendly, and spoke some English, with the help of an electronic pocket translator. I wanted a late check out, and they charged me around $15 an hour, which was well worth it, as I was able to use the hot springs and take a shower after skiing, before a 5 pm train back to Tokyo, 70 minutes away by bullet train. The hotel also has a 24 hour nice museum about the history, no charge, and lots of other things to do: a library, a piano to play, nightly movies shown, board games, etc. This was one of my favorite stays in all of the world.
GGuest UserI have been to Yuzawa on snowboard for about 15 years and there is a regular inn, but I have a gate in front of the station and stayed with my family because I wanted to stay at a large inn. It's old, but it was more normal than I expected. The uncle at the front desk on the first day was very kind (o ^^ o) Amazake is also free and very delicious! The room was a large room for 3 people! Amenity is minimal and yukata is normal. There is a humidifier in the room. The large communal bath is on the first and third floors, and my husband liked it because he wanted to enter the sauna. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it is delicious with a lot of side dishes such as hot tofu and rice in the pot. I went there for dinner because there are famous shops around the station. I thought it would be nice if I went by private car not in front of the station. The sound of the Shinkansen, the sound of snow removal around, and the people on the road are surprisingly noisy and can be heard quite a bit. And although it was said that it was a three-day holiday, it was said that Wi-Fi was not connected because Yuzawa itself was crowded. Too vulnerable. .. ( -`) But overall it was a good hotel.
GGuest UserLocation is excellent, about 1 minutes walk to the train station, or to the main street, both of which have lots of restaurants. The staff are very helpful, although only 1 lady could speak reasonable English. The rooms are very spacious, and comfortable, although the bathroom is on the old side. Those who used the onsen really loved it, although you have to pay an onsen tax, even if you don't use it. Breakfast is on the expensive side, and even little kids have to pay. However, free coffee/tea and soup are provided in the lounge area. There are lot of lockers, but only 2 washers/dryers. The dryer function is not effective, even after 60 mins of drying, so I ended up hanging the clothes in the room to dry instead.
GGuest UserSeeing that it’s approaching the snow season soon, so here it comes a very belated review! Stayed here with my family at the start of the year, and we had a fabulous time here! The hotel is very close to the Echigo Yuzawa Station, but shuttle bus is still available (remember to notify them about your arrival time). There was a staff who was really good at English and has helped us a lot, love that we could choose our own yukata! Our room was really spacious and the view was just AMAZING. Our plan came with breakfast (buffet) and traditional Japanese dinner, and they were perfect! Do remember to check out their onsens as there are a lot of options, you may need a whole day just to try out all of them. They also provide ski/ snowboarding rentals as well, but we booked ours at somewhere else and they still let us to put our gears overnight so that we can go straight to the ski resort directly the next morning. Been wanting to visit Hotel Futaba again this year, but seems it has gotten quite full already, so better plan your trip ahead! とても嬉しかったね~ ありがとう!
Visited hotel in Autumn Nov 23. Stayed 1 night. Room: Spacious, with 1 shower room, 1 dressing area with sink, 1 toilet room with another large sink, bedroom has a sitting area, full sized wardrobe, and 2 twin beds. The room was quiet throughout the night and we had a comfortable stay. One minor comment is that the mattresses on the bed felt old as they sagged in the middle, leaving you without back support. I slept well nevertheless Onsen: Not sure if spring water was used, but the onsen areas were large, with not just an indoor onsen but also an outdoor one, and jacuzzis in 2 forms (sitting and lying down). Very relaxing after a long drive. Breakfast: Quite a good spread with Japanese options, western options, and fruit, yoghurt w compote and juice / coffee/ tea stations. All in this was value for money for the price we paid
Mmaximu1208If you go to Kagura, the ropeway and parking lot are crowded, so this inn of 100 meters from there is a great location and there is also a private parking lot. If you are going to Kagura ski school, you need to take a ropeway, gondola, and it is convenient when you need to take a ropeway early in the morning. You can also buy a preferential lift exchange ticket at the front desk. Each room is a western room with a bus and toilet, so I think it's just right for foreigners. Also, there is a dressing room on the first floor, a entertainment room with a table tennis table and piano, a kitchen with cooking space and microwave oven. The hot spring is also nearby, and you can buy a ticket at the front desk. I was able to spend smoothly. In Kagura, I will make this a regular inn from now on.
GGuest UserThere is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.
Ddorayaki_903I only liked it, but I liked it. One word from me that I have a good grade hotel inn experience! Very good !! Color 々 Feeling * Water is not in the room, but if you ask at rice, you can bring it in the pot (put it away and ok) You can drink water in the washbasin. And delicious. * room food. Very luxurious from the setting of Defo. The rice is delicious. One item is delicious. Anyway, it is delicious. Happy because I like fish. There is a voice that the seafood is regrettable, but I am satisfied. Sweet shrimp! Fish is delicious! The timing of the arrangement is exquisite. * There was a humidifier. The partner smokes cigarettes & dehumidifies and the night is refreshing. * I didn't notice there was a curtain behind Shoji! The day is good and the morning is refreshing. * At the time of the Bon Festival, it is affordable for 15000 yen with 2 meals with 2 meals in which only 20,000 yen was available for breakfast. * The bath is compact. It is wet but slowly soaked. Because it is 24 hours ok, it is in the rental state when it shifts time and enters midnight and daytime. When it is not used for energy saving, it is turned off, but it is good to put it. * Free wifi. It is slow but helps. Download amapla video and enjoy it leisurely. * When I return after breakfast for a consecutive night, the futon is beautiful! I was a little embarrassed because I went out asleep, but I am glad that I was recommended to sleep twice. & Towels and amenities have become new. Yukata is also new. Thank you. * I am glad that breakfast is well balanced. The rice is delicious. The service was very well-defined for the price. High! Some people say, but it is a relatively affordable inn, so this is good. I am very satisfied.
Our experience with Hotel Angel Grandia was excellent. From the time we made a booking until we checked out. Thank you, especially to Takeuchi San who we conversed with via email months before our stay. We requested dining arrangements that were not included in the room package that we booked with Agoda and it was perfectly arranged for our 2-night stay. Communication at times took a while to get a reply but Takeuchi San made sure he followed through with answers to my questions and every detail that needed to be arranged, including the time of the dinner. The hotel rooms were perfect. It included some bunk beds and each room differed a bit, some had separators while others didn't but the bedding was complete. There's a vending and ice machine on our floor which was excellent, and a Family Mart right in the lobby, we didn't even have to go outside. And indeed, the ski resort was just outside the hotel. They offered lockers at the back entrance to keep ski equipment. We went to Gala Yuzawa on the 2nd day to snowboard, but we were able to rent ski equipment right outside the hotel which was excellent, with no lines so it saved as a lot of time, and got a discount as a hotel resident. We were basically ready to go when we arrived at Gala Yuzawa instead of queuing up in the long lines there. We also had a chance to play in the snow area behind the hotel which was very convenient. The onsen was great. I had a chance to go to both onsens, one smaller and cozier one and another bigger one, both had indoor and outdoor pools with different water temperatures. It wasn't crowded at all when I went at night. The staff was friendly, their English was not perfect but enough to communicate well with us. There was a slight problem with billing but they were able to resolve it the same day. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the service. Having said that we had some issues with Agoda regarding the 3 kids that we got confirmation for. And some limitations of their system required us to advance some amount to the hotel, which Agoda eventually refunded to us. Agoda should improve their system as this was their issue, they should not have inconvenienced the customer in the first place. I would have booked direct with the hotel but didn't find their website that easy to understand for international guests. I would definitely return to this hotel if given the chance to visit the Yuzawa area again in the future. We definitely experienced the local hospitality here.
