The room is very good, clean, there is a bathtub, the facilities are newer, the location is in the city center, there is a JR pass, you can take the orengejr sightseeing bus directly to the jr station. Breakfast restaurant is particularly good

The room for us is not upstairs in the restaurant, in the commercial street. The decoration tastes a bit big, but the room is clean and new ～ The English at the front desk is very good, and I will be very enthusiastic to take us to introduce the room in the past.

We loved the Uonobu Ryokan. It the perfect overnight stay in Onomichi.
The location is right next to the water with unblocked view of the inlet. It's also great location to visit the town.
This ryokan has a very traditional look and you will get the full japanese hospitality experience (food, service and customs).
We will come back!

The room is large, with two of the three large windows facing the sea;
Location: Only 100 meters away from Onomichi JR Station, 800 meters away from the largest local supermarket AEON, a 10-minute walk; it is very convenient to walk to the temple behind for a tour
Service: Two bottles of mineral water are also provided in the room
Value for money: Not high, the price of 600+/night is really not cost-effective

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel ahead of our Shimanami Kaido trip and enjoyed ourselves. The room was slightly small but well equipped and clean, with Netflix and Youtube for your entertainment needs. Location was extremely convenient with a 5 minute walk to Onomichi Station and the ferry across to the start point. Plenty of delicious food options around as well. The hotel also has bicycle racks on the second floor. Staff were friendly and kindly helped us fill the TA-Q-BIN forms to ship our luggage and make payment. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here if in Onomichi.

GGuest UserIt takes about 20 minutes from the station to the accommodation, but they provide a shuttle service, which was very helpful.
The room amenities were of high quality, and the place was very clean overall. Personally, I was happy that they provided both yukata and pajamas.
The breakfast was also very delicious.

GGuest UserSuper satisfied! Far exceeded expectations! The whole building is bigger than it looks in the photos! There is a Japanese garden in the building! Super beautiful! The location requires a boat or a bike. If you have luggage, don't worry about taking the boat. It is also very convenient. The hotel is right after you get off the boat!
The service is particularly good! Enthusiastic! The food is really great! The pillows are really hard!
If you pass by nearby, I really recommend you to experience it! We arrived late and there were no bicycles to rent, so the owner lent us his! He was afraid that we would take the wrong boat and chased us out to help us find the way! Great!!!

The total number of rooms is very small, which may be why I cannot book this hotel on other platforms. The washbasin in the room is a bit low, and it is outside the bathroom. The movement and height are not used to it. The room design is lovely, you can overlook the entire harbor from the window, and there is also a raised tatami seating area~
There is a 7-11 downstairs. Although it is not 24 hours a day, it is very convenient~

入り口はホテルっぽく無くてオシャレな感じでした。
エレベーターが無いので階段で上がりますが、チェックイン前に荷物を預けて観光に行ったので楽でした。
お部屋もオシャレでプロジェクターがあったりで楽しかったです。
お友達も『落ち着く〜』と言ってくれました。
選んで良かったです。
アイスクリームの食べ放題やお土産が付いててビックリでした。
また次も利用したいと思っています。

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, but it can be seen that the overall positioning is still relatively high. The staff is very professional and has a good attitude. If you don't drive yourself, the transportation is inconvenient. It is nearly two kilometers away from the JR station and even farther away from the main scenic spots. It is impossible to walk. There are very few bus routes. The main way to travel is by bus from the hotel to the JR station. You need to scan the code 15 minutes in advance to make an appointment. The process is very troublesome and you need to enter a lot of information. If you are lucky enough to catch someone else's appointment, you can take advantage of it. I checked in in the afternoon and was arranged to the lowest floor with almost no view. The front desk explained that the single rooms on other floors were full. Later, I observed that there were only four rooms of this type in the entire hotel, so I believed the front desk. The windows are soundproofed very well. After closing them, you can't hear any outdoor noise at all. The facilities are relatively old, but it's okay to sleep.

GGuest UserGreat location for anyone planning on biking the shiminami-kaido. Room was larger than I expected, two washer/drier available on the top floor. A small basement ”garage” with bike hanging racks where I was able to store my e-bike overnight. Some of the staff are completely fluent in English which was a nice surprise. The only real issue was the AC unit's main power LED is very large and extremely bright white, much brighter than having a night light and being ceiling mounted illuminated the entire room.

There's also a popular Onomichi ramen restaurant next door, so it's convenient.
It's a little far from Onomichi Station, about a 15-minute walk, but
Senkoji Temple is also nearby, so it's just the right location for a stroll around Onomichi.
