We had 2 kids 2 adults and both kids and adults like the room a lot . It’s not a hotel with a lot of services but it’s totally fine for us ( Eg no room cleaning but basket with clean towels were delivered to the door next morning . Enough space for our luggages ( 1 big 1 medium 1 small ) Kids love the bunk bed ( altho have to remind them not to stand up when they wake up due to ceiling height) The beds on the bottom is actually big enough for 2 ppl I think, but I had it all for myself. There is a kitchen sink, fridge and even a microwave and simple utensils. 2 min away walking to morning seafood market, and there is also outdoor parking area right outside the hotel. Check in staff is nice and checkout was super fast too. We re glad we chose this hotel!
Hotel location is amazing, room is clean, staffs are helpful, the only downside is the parking, was told by the staff that parking space is small might not suit our rented mpv car. So we have to park at open car parking nearby costed 700 yen a day.
Nice room with mountain view. The breakfast is superb. Hotel has parking but with a fee. Very close to shopping and several points of interests including the cable car station

I used JR INN for the first time. JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo has used it. I stayed at a railway hotel for railway fans, but I was impressed this time. From the single room I stayed in, you can see all the vehicles coming in from the top of Hakodate Station platform. If you thought you could see Twilight Express and Hokuto Star in the time of running on the bed, Cassiopeia came in. In addition, the timetable is posted on the top floor bath, and the train is seen while bathing. There are many books related to the railway in the rest place, and you can know the history of the railway in Hokkaido. At the entrance of the hotel, there is a head mark such as Hokuto star, and the track is drawn on the floor, and it is a hotel that is not able to be caught in the railway mania from the moment when it enters. It is conveniently located in front of the station or in the station, and from the opposite room, Hakodate mountain can be seen, and I thought it was a good hotel other than railway fans.
I used it for the first time. A luxury hotel, breakfast is a special mention! We chose Japanese food in Azeria for the first night 1 and Matsumae for the second night. At the buffet, there was a heap of salmon roe that I had never seen before, and I was able to make a super gorgeous seafood bowl, which was really amazing. 2 Matsumae on the night was also a very nice set, and I chose the salmon roe set, but this is also super satisfying. My friend was Hitsumabushi set, which looked very delicious! The room was large and well maintained, and it was good because it had a long-established style plus modern functionality.
It was a room that children would be happy! When I entered the building, there were cute modern decorations, and it seemed that security in the middle of the night was also solid. We didn't go, but there seems to be a hidden spot and barbecue facility on the roof! Is the hall renewed? Like old and new? I think the cleaning was clean, but I couldn't get down because I felt like the pillows smelled like dust (^^ ;; Children who are tired of sightseeing for adults in Hakodate are also happy to return to the hotel I think it's a place is! You can stay with a large number of people, so I think it's good to stay with everyone on a trip with grandpa and grandma! However, please note that there is no hot spring!
I used it for the second time with three families and a large dog.
The building itself is used for the burial,
The second floor without heating was a bit cold.
The interior was very clean and I used it comfortably.
There is Hakodate Park just a short walk away, and you can walk.
There was a unit shower
Thank you for taking care of Yajito Onsen (6:00~21:00 reception end) for about 5 minutes by car in the morning and evening.
The parking lot was about five minutes away.
It wasn't enough to worry about.
and you can communicate with the administrator by email
I was able to use it with peace of mind. I will use it again.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing hotel HakoBA Hakodate is. It is located in the old Fuji Bank building which gives it a unique character. They have done an amazing job updating the interior making it look modern yet still letting the character of the building shine through, awesome! Staff at reception were super friendly and helped us with lots of recommendations, like food and drink, and helped us with the public transport 1-day pass which you can buy here. There's also a cool little shop in the reception area selling local gifts. The room was really nice and we were lucky they gave us a room on the top floor which meant the room had really high ceilings and amazing details on the ceiling. Bathroom was pretty large, very modern and clean. Location wise this hotel is perfect. It is a 20 minute walk from the station but well connected to other public transport like buses and the city tram system. Located in the middle of the redbrick warehouse area of Hakodate there's plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Ideal for exploring this amazing city. Highly recommend staying here!
GGuest UserWe stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.
GGuest UserIt has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !
GGuest UserThe hotel is about 5 minutes away from JR Hakodate Station, the hotel offers free shuttle buses to various attractions, but longer shifts, large room space, three-separate toilets, good staff service, and a wide variety of breakfast buffet options, separately provided Hot springs and public leisure space, overall good 👍
GGuest UserToyoko Inn has two branches around Hakodate Station, ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Gate” and ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Chaoshi”, of which ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Chaoshi” is close to Hakodate Station, about two minutes walk. ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Gate” is about a five-minute walk, in fact, it is quite close to Hakodate Station, it is a convenient and affordable choice for accommodation.
NNateline TanThere is a small mall with quite a number of small restaurants for convenient meals. The hotel location is walking distance to the morning market for fresh seafood, sashimi etc. many small restaurants and there is a food court inside the indoor market. Its also walking distance from the JR station.
GGuest UserUnfortunately our train was cancelled due to weather conditions. We end up only stay for a night instead of two. Didn’t get the chance to use the ryokan. Great location. Next to morning market and walking distance too most of attractions.
GGuest UserIt was a nostalgic inn full of Showa retro feeling. It is very beautiful, but it is not temperate and can relax. The meal and bath were very good, but there was no feeling of pulling out of the group. I was worried about the room on the 2 floor of the cherry blossoms, but the strange smell was full. I opened the window and turned the air cleaner, but I was worried until the morning. Isn't Haori washed every time? I didn't use it because I smelled like someone worn? The cloth on the edge of the chair was broken, the menu file on the seat table was broken, and it was quite old. The small place was able to maintain every time ... and it was a pity. The cosmetic water and emulsion with a straw are dry enough to not be used at all. I think it's better to bring your own. I had a pack plan like a lady set, so I followed the amenities separately, but I needed the morning because it was one time. I don't notice at first glance, but I was sorry that I entered the entrance and had a cardboard in the back of my right hand. The garden from the window of the cherry blossom room is peeled off or a pity. The view from the lobby was nice. Good point The staff are very friendly and helpful. The garbage is always cleaned cleanly enough to not fall one garbage. From the bus stop of the shuttle bus from the airport, it is within walking distance of the city tram station. Because the bus was suspended during the declaration of emergency, I went to the Trapistinne Abbey for about 1500 yen by taxi. I felt a lot closer from around Hakodate station.
YYLN TI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and offered a stunning sea view. Guests have free access to the hot spring facility, which was a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and offered a variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the morning market, making it easy to explore local offerings. Highly recommended!
JJin-chanThe best thing about this hotel is its location as it is very close to the train station and to the restaurants and pubs of Hakodate. The twin room we booked was very basic, with enough space for two big luggages to be opened fully. Unfortunately, there is no free parking space as you are asked to pay for parking fee even in their designated parking spaces.
