コスパの高いホテルである。７月２４日から３０１号室（月山）に２連泊。3階はグランド和室が3室のみ。２０２２年にリニューアルしたようで、畳も新しく、気持ちが良い。部屋はとても広く、30畳、ダイニングルーム、洗面所等、快適。ただ、ＴＶがやや小さいのが残念。眺望は、南に最上川と田園、遠くに山形市と蔵王連峰が見える。特筆すべきは、温泉。露天風呂もある。ホテル棟からつながる温泉棟は、日本建築の良さを採り入れた物。大浴場内湯は、木造り感がとても良い。湯は常に流れている。洗い場は十数か所。コロナ対策で、一つ置きの使用表示。使用しなかったが、サウナもある。混雑することは、一度もなかった。夕食は、地元の食材を使った会席料理。大宴会場と個室利用。朝食はバイキングと和会席。ロビー・ラウンジも広く、フロントスタッフも好印象。チャペルも備え、結婚式場に利用されているようだ。2日目は地元企業の大きな会合利用で、駐車場もいっぱいに。町から離れており、静かで、温泉でゆっくりするにはもってこいである。寒河江サービスエリアのスマートＩＣが3分とかからず、山形自動車道利用には便利だった。これまで山形県の宿泊では蔵王温泉ばかりだったので、山形空港を使うときは、車で30分程の寒河江温泉も便利で良いと感じた。

I stayed here for the first time. The site is near Sagae station and is located in a place where you can easily find it. I arrived at night, but the front of the facility and the parking lot had been properly cleared of snow. Stayed in a twin room. The room looks a little old like the exterior, but it was clean and had everything you need. This hotel has sanitizing alcohol everywhere, but it is a good impression that it is also in the guest room. There are very few lodging facilities that do this. I felt that I was very careful about infection control. The reason I chose this place is the location and hot springs. The building is big, so you have to walk a little to get to the hot spring bath. The open-air bath is closed in winter, and there is only an indoor bath. The medium-sized bath has two spouts, and it seems that the set temperature is slightly different on the left and right sides of the bath. On this day, the hot water of the ”sodium chloride spring” had a color between dark brown and greenish yellow. The indoor bath was labeled as slightly lukewarm, but I felt it was generally a little hotter. There was no chlorine disinfection in the hot water, and I was able to feel a very fragrant smell. The spring quality of this hot spring is 5 out of 5 without any complaints. There are eight washrooms surrounding the bathtub, but half of them are unusable due to the corona measures. When I asked the hotel staff, they said that the open-air bath in the courtyard, which was closed, is not that big. Breakfast the next morning is a buffet. It was a private room like a conference room, and the shielding plate was properly installed. However, it seems that they are refraining from replenishing the dishes, probably because there were few guests. When there are few guests, I would personally appreciate it if you had a set menu. Breakfast felt a little unsatisfactory. In other words, if you expect the quality of the hot springs, the evaluation will go up, and if you expect the facilities and food, the evaluation will probably go down a little. The customer service was something that made me feel the simple locality.

Toyoko Inn is located a few minutes walk from Yamagata Station. It is a safe and stable Toyoko Inn, and the facilities are the same as usual. I had a comfortable stay with no issues with cleanliness. There were not many restaurants in Shui, but there were many if you went to the other side of the station. This is a safe and comfortable accommodation that we can recommend.

The inside of the room is in a state where you can clearly see the signs of repair after the wallpaper was torn, but the size of the room may be on the larger side for a single. The Super Hotel Group talks about LOHAS, so it seems like they are paying attention to the environment, but even though the breakfast buffet claims to be a healthy breakfast, I still don't know how healthy it is. The hot springs are open as much as you like from 3:00pm to 9:00am the next day, and although the bathrooms are not large, we enjoyed them to the fullest. Also, since the rooms are PIN-coded and there are no keys or cards, I think it's a good idea to be able to leave the room without having to go through any formalities when checking out.
