Food is excellent - room service is prompt and offers a wide choice from all available restaurants. Indonesia Plaza next door was hugely helpful and convenient.

AAABalceThe day here was outstanding. Super fast check-in thanks to Alung, who was very kind and helpful with recommendations. The staff were all very friendly and quick to help out, especially the cleaning services. The bathtub was a bit narrow in width but shower pressure was great and the bed was amazingly comfy. Would happily stay here again when visiting Jakarta!

SShamsiah Saadonwe had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. what i love about it is the security. it is very tight, makes my family and i feel safe and secure.
the room was spacious and clean even if we added an extra bed. they even provide you with a type G plug outlet (malaysia/uk) if you didn’t bring your universal adapter.
the food was great. everything was nice. i love the variety of foods provided.

GGuest UserWe did’n like the scent of the air freshener used in the room which is lemongrass scented. It smells sour taste and not fresh feeling.
Even the bodywash shampoo conditioner and handwash are lemongrass based too. And doesnt smell as fresh and delicate as the usual 5 star hotel. Quite disapointing.

GGuest UserService was top-notch! From concierge to housekeeping, every service point was exceptional! Commendable mention goes to Arsyad from Front Desk who assisted us at every turn... From helping us sort out an area to meet our Local team to helping us with our odd requests... He did it all with a smile and made us feel welcome and safe with his warm personality... The 17th floor Housekeeping from May 28 to June 2nd was also incredibly attentive... My room was always how I wanted it without my need to inform them... Property itself is clean, well-maintained, and they were careful with the sanitising as we exit the pandemic... Unfortunately it misses on 5 star as there was no room service available for when we were hungry and weren't wanting to Grab food... Otherwise it is truly hard to fault this property... Keep up the 5* service!

Overall, room was nice but too DARK! no good spot for make up since its too dark. lighting very in need of improvement. Daytime light was okay since the room is surrounded by window, but at night, Junior suite room barely have any lights (only 2 hanging yellow dime light and the ceiling light above the window curtain.. imagine how dime is the room).
Unfortunately, just after check in, found a small cockroach in the bathroom. went hidden after calling Housekeeping, but it was not dead. Pest control could be improved.
For a four star hotel and higher category room type, i believe amenities could be improved. as the soap & shampoo provided was uncomparable below standard of other 4 star property like ascott / marriott, since they're using small tube of soap and shampoo. maybe they're cutting the cost there.
breakfast overall was good. many variety of food from Indonesian - Asian - International. But eggs station could be improved, as during rush hour, the queue was quite long. It can be seen that the chef is overwhelmed and causing the food quality to go down.

GGuest UserWe visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, receptionist greeted us with smile, booking process only need several minutes, there is comfortable lobby for waiting and very wide pool. We booked suite room because its the biggest room for us to take maternity photo and there is bathup with nice night city view. BBQ night dinner taste was awesome with butter rice, various fresh fish, sirloin corner, salad bar and lot of desserts. Breakfast taste is good and mostly indonesia traditional food, you should try their porridge. Dental kit using great quality with branded toothpaste. Checkout process very fast and after that we go to pasar baru with 3 minutes walk. Special thanks for receptionist staff and restaurant staff for your friendly services. We definitely will be back if there is chance.

BBrianHotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze.
Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours.
Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks.
Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom.
The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care.
I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days.
Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself.
Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered.
I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it.
I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on.
Won't be staying there again
Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

As for me who stay here about 10days, the food is good but sometimes there is some food that are too bland for my taste buds, also for the glass cleanliness, sometimes a little bit lacking, but overall it's good. GGuest UserStayed in their most basic room with one king bed. The hotel has Japanese theme and feels into it. Checkin was fast, receptionist only let me enter the room after around 1pm / 2pm, while i came at 12pm, they gave me welcome drink voucher which is redeemable for orange juice at their resto / bar on 8th floor. The room is compact, but has everything in it such as small fridge, electric kettle, TV with international channel, very good aircon, slippers and etc. The bed is a bit soft to my preference, but still gave a very good sleep. Linen and blanket was clean. Bathroom is really similar to typical japanese hotel, with fullsize bathtub, heated toilet seat with all bidet buttons you usually find in Japan. amenities are complete. However, often the bathroom has foul smell. Breakfast Buffet was okay for its price, some breads, rice, noodle, stir fry chicken and etc. nothing taste extraordinary, but i do like the Japanese curry. i didnt get the chance to visit the onsen (the only hotel in Jakarta with Onsen perhaps?). overall i love the hotel as it offer good value, however they need to improve their sewage system and some corner need to be cleaned thoroughly.
