The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The room was clean, the bedroom in our room was time: the matlas had a ”screw” from my side. pleasant staff, the possibility of enjoying a discount in the 2 restaurants that are on the top but that in which we have dinner not” played the game”...

Très bon rapport qualité prix ! Proximité des voies routières et autoroutières (A71 à 5 Km), du centre ville de Riom (accessible à pied en 1/2 heure). L'hôtel propose du snacking à toute heure (pizza, plats de charcuterie/fromage, lasagne, quiche, etc.) mais il y a des restaurants accessibles (immédiatement) à pied (la Mangoune (plats auvergnats), le Zinc (itou), une pizzéria). Personnel aimable et très pro (vu l'affluence soutenue), une bonne surprise, notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée face au parking et pas de bruits particuliers (au delà du raisonnable notamment la nuit). Clientèle discrète et sympa (un peu de tout touristes retraités salariés ou cadres en déplacements etc.) Ayant deux petits chiens avec moi c'était grand confort un peu de verdure dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel mais à quelques pas une très agréable coulée verte (qui longe le golf de Riom en direction de la gare SNCF accessible à pied à 1,6 Km !). Juste une remarque dans ma chambre (la n°8) un petit coup de peinture ne serait pas du luxe. Je reviendrai sûrement...

Pour notre départ en vacances, nous avons choisi l’hôtel Kyriad Riom pour une première escale, cette première réservation nous a satisfait, à part le bruit extérieur causé par l'emplacement de la chambre située juste en face du rond point hyper fréquenté même la nuit. Pour notre retour de vacances, le samedi 30 mars 2024, à notre demande, une chambre plus éloignée de l'axe routier nous a été octroyée. Merci à Kyriad, notre nuit fut calme et réparatrice... Les choses commencent à se gâter dimanche 31 mars 2024 au matin lorsque nous nous présentons au petit déjeuner. Le réceptionniste nous indique d'un ton discourtois que le petit déjeuner est servi jusqu'à 10 heures et qu'il est 10 h 20... Hélas pour nous, vacanciers heureux et insouciants, nous avions complètement oublié le changement d'heure... Nous lui demandons si nous pouvons prendre tout de même notre petit déjeuner rapidement (je précise : petits déjeuners réglés la veille à notre arrivée) Il nous laisse rentrer dans la salle et là, surprise désagréable, il n'y a plus rien à manger, tout est rangé, il ne reste que les liquides : thé, café... Au final, nous avons eu l'impression de nous faire ”piéger”, en effet, Kyriad nous demande de payer à l'avance les petits déjeuners, Kyriad nous laisse rentrer dans la salle dédiée au petit déjeuner en sachant pertinemment qu'il n'y a plus rien à manger... Il est certain que nous sommes des adultes responsables et devons nous comporter comme tels. Cependant, il aurait peut être été judicieux de la part de Kyriad de rappeler à ses clients, par un affichage spécifique par exemple placé bien en vue à l'accueil, le changement d'heure qui de fait, occasionnerait une modification des horaires du petit déjeuner. Et cela aurait évité que je sois dans l'obligation d'émettre un avis défavorable sur l'hôtel Kyriad de Riom.

From the ”charitable” hotel to recharge my Tesla at the SuperCharger installed on the parking, I thought naively I could use the toilets of the hotel. What a idea... After about 10 minutes of waiting in front of the only toilet in this hotel, I see the employee out of the reception, apparently having made a huge ”gross commission” (to judge by the smell...) And cherry on the cake, The shop was closed with the shop, left fecal materials on the toilet. ”Sorry, but you just finished the paper, and left the toilets in an innombrable cleanliness” Response ? ”Ah, well you want, it's the other customers since this morning who have had to get out the toilet and finish the paper” The hotel is a very nice hotel, and the hotel is a very nice hotel.

I changed my booking from Valence to Clermont Ferrand North as this hotel was now nearer my route to Dieppe. I was very surprised how good the staff were in the hotel. I arrived late and all was sorted at the desk in the IBIS next door. The room was very comfortable and quiet and very clean. I requested Gluten Free breakfast and the bread was ready and waiting for me. The breakfast was excellent and have had far worse in very expensive hotels. As a budget hotel thos one is very difficult to beat.

Excellent hôtel pour son prix, vintage à souhait (très joli et confortable gros pouf orange dans la chambre), les parties communes de l'hôtel sont rétro mais très propres et bien entretenues. Petit déjeuner très satisfaisant, à partir de 7h00 ( commode pour se remettre tôt au travail). -Moins cher que les grandes chaines d'hôtel standardisées en périphérie de la ville proche, -situé en centre ville donc à proximité de plusieurs restos accessibles à pied. Vive l'hôtellerie traditionnelle!

This was a unusual experience, especially with it being the first time in France! We chose this place because it was along the way with how many kilometers we wanted to drive with children for the day. The accommodations of a pool, open living space, sleeping spaces, free parking, and price (without the breakfast) were appealing. Front desk staff was bilingual and made a good and quick check-in experience. However, after that we had some disappointment at the pool... there were people at the pool that were obviously not supposed to be there, and a hotel manager was asking everyone what their room numbers were to use the pool. As a previous manager myself, I would like to advise the hotel to not ask for guests to give out hotel rooms out loud for security purposes, and I was very uncomfortable giving out my room number in front of people who shouldn't have been at the pool anyway. (Ask to show the room key instead). After much arguing between the manager and the non-guests, they finally caved left (not following any pool rules of any sort). Directly after that we had the next unfortunate drama of a bunch of teenagers jumping the fence and attempting to use the pool. I immediately informed the same manager, and she quickly escorted them out. After apologizing, she also clarified that there are budget cuts with security and that the security guard works only at certain times....obviously this is an issue with continuous break ins and I can't help but mention that some investments in maintenance would help. The fence behind the pool area needs to be fixed, a more secured and higher fence along the pool area, and a key card system to be established so that only guests can access the entrance to the pool (as the door was left open, so of course people could enter). On a positive note, the room was good enough for us for a one night stay - it was clean but just a bit run down. We did not eat the breakfast during our stay as we preferred to experience a French bakery along the way instead.
