Best Pierry Hotels

La chambre est propre avec un confort relatif, le petit déjeuner est très bien. Par contre il y a une diversité dans la clientèle étonnante.

Very basic hotel but clean enough and did the job for one night stay. Reception only open for a few hours so check that your arrival time is within these hours as the main door is locked and only accessible by keypad. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking spaces. Had to drive into town as approx 30 min walk and was too far to walk in the heat. Supermarket on the doorstep. Breakfast was a decent continental offering. The building feels like an old hospital and has a strange feeling to it...I wouldn't like to walk around it alone at night! OK for an overnight stop but wouldn't book for a longer stay.

Had a very welcoming check in experience by a lovely young lady who explained everything in some detail to me including the car parking in the underground car park below. And how there was a special rate of €10 something for 2 hours there if the ticket was correctly validated, so I parked our car down there. Spent a lovely evening in town and upon checking out the following day presented my car park ticket for the expected validation to be told that I had to do that with the office at the car park. So I went there and explained that I was staying at the Ibis and needed the ticket validating and was directed to the cash machine. Which promptly charged me €34.40 for the privilege of 20 hours parking. I will be visiting Epernay again on my travels but will be staying well away from the centre. Either someone from the municipal car park needs to talk to the Ibis management, or vice versa, the Ibis management needs to talk to them. I obviously was not the first victim of this.

Some of the reviews put me off staying here so I was tempted to book the Ibis again, however I changed my mind and booked. The room was far better than the Ibis, much more space, clean, serviced well, couldn’t fault it really, and close to our favourite bar. A few strange reception staff, one very young girl who looked us up & down & stared all the time and then the older reception guy of an evening who did his job (which I couldn’t really fault but he wasn’t interested in us). I’d stay again, great position and quiet.

We were delayed due to weather and traffic so made a last minute reservation en-route a couple of hours prior to check in. We were told that we had the last room, for which we were very grateful. Very helpful on arrival and shown to our ground floor room. You can hear even a regular conversation from the corridor. We settled in at circa 1800 and as housekeeping arrived for turn down the baby next door started to cry and the tv was turned up. Housekeeping said that we must not suffer this and called the manager to move rooms. Eventually we were found another room which was available but no pillows and towels, which we had to get, also cold No worries we thought , let us enjoy a nice supper in the bistro rather than the gastronomique restaurant… Disappointing was an understatement , tiny portions of basic food, the soup was too salty and the apple pudding was 4 slices ?! Hopefully the main restaurant was better? Noisy, cold and frankly a waste of money, Relais and Chateau need to visit and review.

A hotel where the director is at your aesthetic point, exquisite, stylish but warm and welcoming, super recommended! The hostess will personally prepare breakfast for us and send us champagne. Our suite has two bedrooms, one with two small beds and two cute bear cubs, the other large room with a beautiful rain-after-rain roof, two rooms connected by stairs, and a romantic bathroom in the middle. Said will give her a big praise, praise her good taste and serious attitude (ps, and her meticulous clothing and hairstyle)
