Stayed here on a Christmas Market trip with Shearings. This type of hotel is not suitable for groups for more than one night. They do not know how to cater for groups putting us in a separate conference room. The food was very small portions and no choice, not good enough at dinner although the breakfast was good. The rooms were fine and spacious but cold due to a centrally operated temperature controlled by the hotel. It was below freezing outside most of the week . You did not come back to a warm room. If they want this type of business going forward , maybe need to have a rethink.

The coffee was reasonable, I found the best option to go for the americano and add fresh milk. So, the breakfast isnt a feast but theres plenty there to get you started for the day. All in all, its probably worth 5 for value for money especially booking as a flex deal , the room/ bathroom between 4 and 5 (considering the price) but I cant stretch to give it the full 5 overall as the late night checkin with parking the car at the gate and then running to a machine is not what you want after a drive. I tried to checkin online on the evening of arival but this was no longer possible. ALSO!!! - be aware that the late night checkin machine ONLY takes physical cards with pin number - theres no facility for paying by cash or contactless. On my last journey at a nearby hotel (the last one in France just before the border at Saarbrücken) we even had to pay for strangers at midnight whose cards were not working and they gave us the money in cash.
